No. Anyone who disagrees is an idiot. Shane Mosley with his pitty pat jab out jabbed Manny. No way in hell Manny can jab with Floyd.

I could see Manny throwing 60 total punches per round, with him throwing 35 power punches per round[his bread and butter], and 25 jabs per round against Floyd. In the second Marquez fight, Manny was able to averaged only 25.4 power punches thrown per round and connected 37% of those power punches, 9.4 power punches landed per round. Anyone in his/her right mind knows that he would connect a far lesser power punches connect percentage on Floyd. Let's say that Manny throw ten more power punches against Floyd than he threw against JMM with 35 power punches throwing per round, and connect 25% of them, 8.7 power punches landing per round. Then, how would he beat Floyd by UD if he doesn't KO him with his superman's punching power as his fans are banking on?

Because although only a few of them will land, Floyd will cover up while Manny is flurrying like he always does.
And while FMJ is getting ready to unleash his laser accurate right on Manny thinking Pac is done, he will suddenly get barraged by a couple more.
This is his contrast to JMM who can go all ballsy and counter Pac in the middle of his combinations.
And it's also wise to point out that Pac's opponents also dropped in the amount of punches they throw per round, mostly because they can't get a breathing space in the middle of the Pac assault.

This was how Pac beat JMM in the eyes of the judges.
JMM throwing the more crisp and accurate punches, Pac throwing the more volume of and powerful punches while almost always being the aggressor.

Of course not, but i don't see him throwing 100 punches per round[80 power punches per round, and 20 jabs per round] against Floyd either. Manny's power punches are his bread and butter, and if a Boxer is fundamentally talented and intelligent enough to neutralize his power punches output and landing, then you have a great chance of beating him. Some Boxers will beat you with just a jab by throwing it all night if they have to, but Manny isn't like those Boxers.

floyds problem in this fight is low punch output and he's chinny. Cant hold pacquiao off with one punch even with counter shots, ask cotto. Gotta get his respect , and have to be tough enough to weather the storms. Floyd lacks in these areas.

One thing fans seems to overlook is that Floyd is more aggressive offensively against Southpaws than he is against right handers. Now do not confuse aggressive offensive with being reckless because Floyd uses intelligent aggressive pressure compared to Margarito who uses his heart and face. I think Floyd would throw 40-45 punches per round in that fight, that's total punches per round 480-540. Floyd doesn't need to throw alot of punches to land his punches accurately.

So let's say that Manny throwing 60 punches per round to Floyd throwing 40 punches per round, but Manny only connect 20% of his punches[12 punches landing per round], while Floyd connect 45% of his punches[18 punches landing per round], then Floyd would win the fight by UD if he don't get knockdown, knockout, ect. Floyd likes to win by points, and that's the reason why he's very focus of landing his punches accurately and doesn't waste anything.

Clinching and using the elbow are the only dirty tactics that i think Floyd would uses.

Marquez timed Manny's in and out movement by simply stepped back and threw his counters. Floyd would just step back and throw a stinging left jab or left hook to catch Manny rushing in head first, and then he would finish with a straight right hand over the top and move out. Any technician knows how to time Manny's in and out movement rhythm, and Floyd would be the most athletic technician that he'd ever face. I like to use my bull**** statistics because Floyd has been consistently being able to demonstrated his overall skills by outpointing and outboxing his opponents; whereas LeBron has been inconsistent and failed to demonstrated his talent when it matters the most.
