If the fight had continued, Floyd's overall accuracy connect percentage would've increased. There was still eight more rounds to go.

Yes Pacquiao can jab with mayweather if he wants to, but its not his style

If he can walk through Margarito and Cotto's punches, he can probably withstand Floyd punches. I think many will be suprised when Floyd hits Manny with a sharp right and it doesn't faze him as much as they think it would.

That was a drained Manny. After Saturday, your excuse when Pacquiao eats Marquez counters like its nothing will be:

    1. Marquez is fighting out of weight
    2. Pacquiao is on PEDs
    3. Marquez is shot.

Man, stop with this Pac is long gone crap. I agree that Manny is no longer the same Boxer he was back in 2004 when he first fought JMM, but the 2008 Pacquiao isn't much different than the Pacquiao of now. He just has fought opponents that played right into his strength and they weren't as smart nor fundamentally as skilled as JMM to limited Manny's most effective punches. Manny is great Boxer, but to say that he's a total different Boxer now than he was back in 2008 is over-exaggerating.

no I don't think he can jab with him, but he can land it at times when Floyd is on the ropes and work Floyd over on the ropes. I still think Floyd wins this fight by UD if they ever fight.

Well, the guy in your avatar disagrees and thinks Pacquiao has become extraordinary and Manny beaten the guys he did would be equivalent to him knocking out heavyweights. From his own words.

This fight won't prove anything other than that Manny will be fighting at his comfort zone due to the weight advantage, and JMM will be out of his comfort zone due to the added weight gain as he was against Floyd. This fight will be a display of Manny's physical strength advantage rather his overall improvements since 2008.

    floyd really isnt a jabber

for a skilled guy like floyd his offense is not textbook based from a jab

like hopkins he really just throws power shots

he is more likely to start his attack with a lead right or a left hook

Manny also is not a jabber

not saying they can jab but these guys are not jabbers

They aren't jabbers, but Floyd still land his jabs more consistently and accurately than most jabbers, and he's in the top 10 of Boxers who averaged the most jabs landing per round. Not bad for a guy who isn't considered as a Jabber.

Since Manny would have to land his power punches[bread and butter] at a consistent level against Floyd in order to win, then let's see how consistent Floyd's last five opponents was at landing their power punches on him. In his last five fights[Ortiz, Mosley, Marquez, Hatton, Oscar], Floyd's opponents has landed a total of 254 power punches out of 1,291 power punches thrown [19.6%]. They averaged 5.1 power punches landed per round[50 rounds total] out of 25.8 power punches thrown per round. Margarito got hit by more power punches in one fight[411 out of 713 power punches landed] than Floyd got hit by power punches in five fights[254 out of 1,291 power punches landed].

No. Manny would have to make this a war. But outjabbing Mayweather, forget it. I believe Pacquiao would win this fight with the right strategy though.
