I don't think Pacman will win. If he does, it won't be by jabbing.

I think Mayweather would be more likely to win by using a consistent jab.

You are trying to reason with Idiots!!!!

connect percentages has nothing to do with it.

A jabber just throws lots of jabs.

if you throw 18 per round, that barely constitue a jabber. Infact, that barely is a boxer.

Mayweather connects average of 8 jabs per round, and recently is actually decreasing a bit. His last 2 fights against Mosley, Mayweather connected 85 jabs. That is 7 jabs per round. Aaginst Victor Ortiz, he connected 12 in 4 rounds, which translate to 43 per round. Against Hatton, Mayweather landed 29 jabs. The only aberration was against JMM where he landed 185. The notion that Mayweather is a jabber is just that - a notion.

On the same token, Pac averages around 4 connect jabs per round. But his power punch is disproportionately was higher than the difference between Mayweather's connect rate for Jabs. It is not even half.

Jab won't work, The in and out tactic would be effective, then rapid fire punches with movement, that will do it :good

Floyd would time him every time.

i think Floyd will have a hard time timing Pac since Pac moves a lot

and if Floyd makes a mistake with his timing he would get countered with power combos

it's all in the footwork, take away Pacquiaos angles, so Pacquiao can only come in straight forward(in and out), which is easier to counter and time. Floyd has to keep distance while using hes reach advantage. You gotta dance with Pac.

    YES HE CAN-

I DOUBT HE'LL BE SUCCESSFUL IN USING TO ACCOMODATE HIS GAME PLAN THOUGH.

ARMS AREN'T LONG ENOUGH AND HE WONT BE ABLE TO CLOSE THE GROUND BEFORE FLOYD DROPS THAT RIGHT FOOT BACK AND PAC LOSES THE ANGEL.:deal

Marquez nearly beat Pacquiao because every time Pacquiao came in he pushed his jab into Pacquiao's path. It wouldnt even have snap but it would stop Pacquiao's momentum long enough for Marquez to land his own straight right.

I believe everytime Pac throws a straight left Mayweathers jab will be meeting him right in the eye.

THE MORE MANNY COMES IN WITH "RAPID FIRE" THE MORE HE'LL BE OPEN FOR COUNTER PUNCHING.

Why wasnt Pacquiao rapid fire against Mosley *******s? Pac is only rapid fire against the stiffs he's been fighting. Mosley used just a little bit of footwork and Pac couldnt get off like he used same in the later stages of the Cotto fight. Mayweather is 10 times the boxer taht either of them were. There will be no rapid fire Pacquiao if this fight happens.

Floyd will be covering up like Clottey, so Floyd wont be that effective in counter punching,

Pacquiao doesnt really stop when he gets hit, he keeps punching

lmfao..FLOYD WILL NOT BE DEFENDING LIKE CLOTTEY:patsch

Floyd brings a lot more movement and he throws more punches..he also lands more and he is MUCH MORE VERSATILE.

    LMFAO..THIS GUY SAID "LIKE CLOTTEY":rofl:rofl

    Maybe you mean reach.

Floyd from armpit to fist = 26" (never seen it but generally accepted)
Manny from armpit to fist = 25" (listed in the Morales and Marquez fights)

Manny arms are the same length as Mosley's and is longer than Ortiz 23" and Oscar's 24"

Let me ask you this? Do you think Manny is capable of landing more than 37% of his power punches on Floyd like he did on JMM in their second fight? I don't care how different Floyd and JMM, Floyd still has way better defense than him. Comparing Clottey to Floyd is an insult; it's as equivalent as comparing Ortiz to Manny. Clottey just hid behind his high guard defense without moving his feet, head, bobbing and weaving punches, ect. Floyd can counter you while he's moving backward, or he can intelligently put pressure on you coming by using his jab to score points as well as a measuring stick to to control the range. To beat Floyd you have to consistently landing your punches on him.
