Wrong, cause at that weight and stage of their career JMM was the only one with the heart and chin to trade with Pac.. Which is your only chance at a win..

gander tasco, but you gotta have love for him. At least he tries to talk about the actual fight compared to other pacfags.

Take chances? Floyd fought Mosley straight up. He actually boxed Mosley less then Cotto did.

Mosley was a little younger, a little fresher, but the point still stands, Mayweather landed at a higher percentage then Cotto with his jab. Which is one of Cotto's primary weapons seeing as how he's left handed and fights orthodox, much like Oscar de La Hoya where as Mayweather it is not a primary weapon and he will abandon it often.

Meaningless. He threw 288 jabs, to Floyds 210. But only landed 98 to Floyds 85. 6% lower.

I just wish the damn thing would happen. I don't care who wins. That said, I think Floyd takes it.

Mosley looked spent by the end of round 3, his punches didn't look crisp and seemed like it had nothing behind them.

wrong....even before pac fought barrera for the first time he was doubted what he'd do in the featheweights ..he was viewd bigger now only because of how succesful he has become in so many weightclasess....combinations and fighting spirit is what jmm held vs pac, not to mention in a weigtclass he was very comfortable in...

Actually, even the old men doing the HBO commentating recognized that Morales was trying to keep a slower paced BOXING match with emmanuel, and they even knew Morales developed this strategy off studying tapes of what Marquez did.

maybe, maybe not... i technically don't want to assume that he could do it. if, only if mayweather is slowing down, it looks like he is, then pac could throw one. then if he keeps on doing the same stuff and still have the same speed and everything that mayweather have then pac won't get one.

Round 3 also happened to be the round where we saw Floyd be the most aggressive in recent years.

no doubt...floyd has to somehow trade punches with pac or atleast throw more than his usual or else it'd be like the pac vs clottey fight all over again!

JMM trades because he's Mexican, and Mexicans have to impose there will and prove their dominance.

Marquez didnt beat up Pacquiao because he traded, he beat Pacquiao because he countered him frequently lowering Pacs punching output and generally making him afraid to throw. Thats what counter punchers do.

Mosley threw 507 punches in what 9 rounds against Margarito? He through 452 against Mayweather in 12.

Thats what counter punchers do. They make you afraid to throw. The same would happen if Pac fought Mayweather

I'd say the age and rust on Mosley more than make up for that.. Point still stands Cotto's jab found Shane more than Floyds..

A better question is "Do you think Mayweather will man up and fight Pacquiao ?"
