Nah JMM biggest succeses were in exchanges.. He got the best of alot of them... He wasn't slugging, but he was exchanging..

Floyd's not 100% counterpuncher, though. He fight like one against Judah or Corley, he outworked them on the inside. I think Pacquiao has a speed advantage, but I've never actually seen him fight on the inside at length.

Floyd, unlike Cotto, has superior timing and a right hand to cover him. You won't see no emmanuel str8 left continuously countering Floyd's jab. Floyd has the best 1-2.

Here is emmanuel being forced into a slower paced fight, his opponent DID NOT throw a high volume of punches at all, well below the Super Featherweight average!

619/12 = 52 per round, much lower than emmanuel's typical average of 68 or 70.

jmm was lucky one of the judges admittedly made a mistake with his scorecards making it 10-7 instead of 10-6 whcih was the right score to end up in a draw...here's the second one:

Bit far don't you think with a sprinkling of pretzel logic. What greatness did Erik give up for beating him and then losing to him? After all Robinson did beat Basilio.

His win and then losses to Manny solidify his greatness. They do not diminish it. To do so speaks ill of the person you are cheering for.

You already know. I'm a neutral fan and I'm not going to get into a silly argument with you about relevance on a boxing forum.

Manny doesn't have the skill to beat Floyd . Only way he has a chance is by KO landing a big shot like Shane . In essence a lucky shot that Floyd happens to not see coming . Manny is only effective in exchanges . Floyd will teach Manny what boxing is and show him his eyes closed hail mary lefts have no effect. Floyd will be the fastest opponent Manny has ever seen plus smartest. His feints and counter punching will control the tempo of the fight and cause Manny to do something he's not good at which is think. Manny just throws . When thinking he'll have to 2nd guess and plan and try to decifer and anticipate what Floyd is doing . And last but not least Floyd will be a moving target. Manny is going to have hissy fits when Floyd doesn't exchange and moves around the ring. This fight is really over hyped. Its going to be yet another one sided victory and technical boxing match where only Floyd is going to be the only man participating once again . Manny is out of his element here just like Shane was. Fighters fight in rhythm . Read The Tao Of Jeet Kune Do by Bruce Lee. He explains perfectly how fighters are broken records repetitiously going on to the same beat over and over. Floyd doesn't have a rhythm for Manny to decifer . His style really depends on the style of his opponent . He pays attention and he adapts. Bruce Lee says be like water. He says water conforms to any container . Floyd is the best example of this.

Manny doesn't have a chance in hell really. If theres such a thing as reincarnation, Floyd had Manny beat lives ago .

Floyd has a worldclass jab. Pacquiao will not be able to win a war of jabs.

He has been, but true he is able to adapt to most styles.. The only recent fighter who has made Floyd fight is Hatton and that fight was very underrated and hatton doesn't get enough credit for that fight...Pac doesn't have Hattons chin though..

Pac doesn't usually stand inside but recently he's been trying to change his game, there just hasn't been anyone to put those skills to the max.. so it's hard to say what he can do on the inside at this time..

Pacs grown as a fighter since his 130 days...

Marquez was able to reduce Pacquiaos punch output by timing and countering him. Its extremely relevant.

The relevance of showing JMM/Pac punch stats is that Manny didn't throw 1200 punches because he was getting countered which throws out the out put pressure scenario that many consider a point on why Pacquiao has a chance.

even jmm, morales and barrera are more skilled then pac but boxing is 70 percent mental.....pac skills is not his best weapon, instead his awkwardness..he is not a textbook fight where youcan prepare for using fundamentals.....floyd will not know how to fight pac, he knows that!

What??? Morales had his last great fight that night... He took alot of shots that night that added to the punishment he had absorbed through his career..

In order to beat Pac he gave a piece of himself..

What's the point of this thread?

Would you expect Manny to engage in jabbing war against Foulmouth? The thread is only valid if that is Pac's style.

Stupid thread and any analysis that Michigay or any one else is amking is worthless. And somebody has the guts to claim he has a brain?

In the first place, Mayweather does not have a consistent jab.
