I'm Seeing a lot of new thread about Floyd vs Pac Not happening but it seems to be happening from Pac's side... Do You Think Arum/Roach Would try to delay this fight for as long as possible to keep the money train flowing....

Pac has better chances against cotto & jmm than he does against floyd... the second pacman take's a loss Pacman's Gravy train is not over but it will have definitely slowed down.... if he loses to floyd .. floyd will automatically steal all of pacman's spot light

Arum/Roach could delay fighting floyd/shane for atleast 2-3 more fights (Cotto-Jmm-Berto MAYBE-Valero MAYBE)

Do You Think They Would Delay this fight, take the easier fight's, and slwly stack their chips..

    or

Do You think they will Roll Their Dice and try to take the big gamble and go to the end of the rainbow against floyd?

    What are your thoughts?

Yes he'd try because he is scum, however the public demand for this fight is so huge he would have no choice.

No! These two are creating a leverage for the negotiation. If PBF plays ***** in the money matters . . . they'll push for Cotto or Mosley fight.

i kinda agree on this. they are just trying to send a message on PBF's camp that they have alternatives in case he plays hard to get.

Berto vs Pac would have been nice before the PBF. Mosely is the only one not busy, but that would be too dangerous.

I wouldn't worry about the weight in this match. It will be the money that kills it.

Well the fight is not gonna happen till nov-dec. Lets see how the PBF vs. JMM goes, and the Cotto vs. Clottey! Im sure Roach will be observing these 2fights closely. Only one that is gonna be inactive is SSM! Plenty of time for him to drop down to 143Ibs. That is the only way they will fight him.

If Arum has a chance at double royalties/commissions, he's going to go after it like a bull in a china shop. He was soo desperate to make Margarito/Cotto II that he played the race card, petitioned loudly and embarrassingly, and made all sorts of wild claims regarding Margarito's situation. At the post fight press conference on Saturday he literally quelled discussions of Pacquiao/Mosley, forcibly cutting off and interrupting people who attempted to bring up the possibility. Not only is Arum going to try and sabotage Pacquiao/Mayweather, he is already trying to sabotage Pacquiao/Mosley in favor of Pacquiao/Cotto. He wants ALL the money. AS USUAL. And he isn't the least bit concerned about how any of it looks.

roach had just stated that 140 is the weight pq is comfortable with. if fmj wants a piece of pacman then he has to go down to 140. i think that's reasonable. besides, fmj needs pq that pq needs him. pq with or without fmj is now considered one of the best if not the best ever boxer in the planet.

Roach says an WW wanting Pac has to come to 142. The game is on. Pac holds the cards, he does NOT need Floyd. He does not need boxing anymore. Sounds like Floyd needs him, hence the "comeback".

Don't think so, they're just hyping it up more and keeping more people interested. I don't think they even need to do that but they know what they're doing and will eventually get it signed.

The agenda is pretty claer. The biggest fight for the most money.

What I think is very interesting will be the PPV numbers.

Now, should PAC Hatton outstrip Floyd Hatton for numbers - Arum will take an offer to Floyd making Manny the 70 and Floyd the 30.

We saw all this happen with the Hatton fight too - It's far too early to dismiss the agenda of Roach and Arum - they're looking for cash and a decent fight.
