Do you think Sergio Mora can still be a force at world title level?

It's hard to imagine the top guys at 154 not having trouble with his style . Mora is slick and very skilled. I can't say with confidence that he would beat guys like Martinez or Williams , but he could give them a tough fight . Williams especially

Pavlik and Abraham are gone from 160. Martinez isn't staying at middleweight either. Williams still claims he wants to fight at 147.

Mora is actually very close to being in a position where he can pick up a vacant title, or beat a weak title holder.

I think he could beat Sylvester (IBF,) and the way Sturm looked in hs last fight Mora might score an upset (WBA.) The WBO title is vacant, and the WBC title will soon be vacant too. Mora needs to get busy, and get himself into an eliminator.

 

Of course he can. He has reach, skills, solid chin, good speed and movement. He just needs to sort his weight issues and settle at the weight he's comfortable at and watch yourselves what he's capable of doing.

 

UHM...Paulie went through 12 rounds of hell with Cotto...so your not making any point.

he might be feather fisted but im sure he hits harder than paulie
if paulie can stand his ground with cotto
mora should be able to ???
look at the problems margo gave cotto with size ?
margo is 5ft 11
mora is 6ft tall
to beat cotto you have to overwhelm him with shots :deal
manny fired fast combo's
margo constantly attacked him into submission
torres had cotto in serious trouble with volume


Mora does have quality fast ripping combos ???

Still be a force? When was Mora ever a force? He won one title and then got his ass handed to him in the rematch. Mora is a good fighter and can win another world title against the right fighter. However, he never was and never will be a "force".

 

Feed Mora to Cotto. I wanna see someone take Mora out in fashion.

 

Mora is ****ing utter garbage. Worse than Jermain Taylor.

 

GB should force Mora to drop down & make 154lbs his permanent home.
He would fit in very good in that division, Could upset a couple of the top's, IMO.
