Do you think Solis would lose weight if he fought a Klitschko?

Obvious statement: Solis is fat. People are saying that he looks to be 300 lbs at the moment.

But so far he's fought nothing but low level opposition, and has beat all of them while weighing 250+.

Do you think that if he fights Vitali or Wlad he would take things seriously and try to lose weight?

Only if he's both smart and wants to win. I'm not sure he is either.

Doubt it, he obviously doesn't have the determination or discipline to manage his weight since turning pro. He could get down to 230, it still wouldn't matter, either Klitschko whips him......so why bother losing the weight?

I figure he may have accomplished so much as an amateur that he doesn't have the hunger (right kind of hunger) to bother anymore. Not to do his best.

Solis has openly said he hates boxing, but it's all he knows.

I just figure that even if he hates boxing if he gets a title shot he should just go for broke.

If he gets in shape, he give both of the K, a run for their money, he is a better boxer than both of them, faster, has a granite chin and can punch, and has been a HW all his life, really, look a the brothers opponents and tell me which one of them is a future HOF?
Lewis is, but VK loss the fight, Sanders was a part time boxer, fulltime golfer, and he won against WK, Brewster has his moments, but he ain't a HOF, so you could say that while dominants, their reign has been plague by weak opponents, Briggs was a washout asthmatic fighter, so don't even mention him, Byrd was Middleweight campaigning at HW, they are good boxers and is not their fault that we don't have a couple of good HW, sorry we do, Hayes and Solis, I think Hayes is afraid and Solis want to fight them. The only HOF that they fought is JC Gomez and as a cruiser.

Has he really? Jesus, no wonder! That makes me think he'll keep doing just enough to get the ranking for a title shot and a big pay day and then come up short in his big fight. Not for lack of know-how.

I used to think boxing was a serious sport, but when i see guys like solis i think its a joke, if he got himself in shape he could be a very good fighter, but thats all down to him.

Evan if solis beat one of the klits, would you really want him to be a role model for one of your kids, it would cost you a fortune at kfc and mcdonalds.

He's just another Cuban boxing fan who thinks all their fighters are elite pros without ever having to prove it like they are also doing with Rigondeaux.
