Arreola didn't. Peter didn't. Rahman didn't. Briggs didn't.

You'd think going up against a Klitschko would be impetus for some of these heavier slobs to come in at an optimum weight...but...they just don't.

 

Peter and Briggs both came in good shape, I thought. Rahman had only a couple weeks notice or something, didn't he? And what the **** is your deal never giving Arreola his respect? He made Vitali look like a pudgy the whale by comparison he was so ripped for that fight.

He'll come in fat as ****, but I think he could possibly still beat a Klitschko. More likely Vitali at this point...

 

The only weight he will lose is when he drops a big one in his pants when he sees his opponent at the weigh-in.

 

I think he said it's not his preference. Hating is a big word.

hes been already quite a bull back then compared to when he fought at heavy..

 

i'll say it again, Solis has openly admitted numerous times to hating boxing.

 

That is quite sad to hear, i still believe he'll change that perspective once in line for a title shot though. The serious money hasn't been made yet...

 

When has Solis ever proven that he is a better boxer or faster than the Klitschkos? When he beat Felix savon in the amateurs? News flash, Chagaev beat Savon twice. Solis has looked fast against old Barrett who was destroyed in his prime by Wlad. The Klitschkos are always underrated in the speed departement because they are tall and therefore look slower than they are. Hide, Byrd and Chambers are all fast and it wasn't good for anything. And referring to the weakes moments in the Klitschkos careers is silly, Solis doesn't have enough fights to have had those moments.

 

No. I've lost hope in him. He'll be 260+ should he ever get a title shot. He wants the money, that's all. He doesn't have to be in shape to collect his paycheck.

I don't see this guy's weight making that much of a difference, anyway.

Being *less obese* would help him in a fight that he stood a chance in, like against some of the other heavies, but against Vitali or Wlad, Solis gets embarrassed, fat, lean, whatever.

If Solis were to lose about 40 of lard, he would probably give someone like Peter or Arreola a tough test, possibly, but I see both beating the VERY overrated, power lacking Solis................

Fat or not, Haye,, Chagaev, and the K Bros steemroll him.
