How long did it take PBC to make Garcia/Spence or Porter/Spence? None of those fights were made "in under a year." The only way Hammond makes the fight even if Crawford is with PBC is if he tires of Spence's behavior.

No, I don't. I have already given up waiting for big fights at 147. All of the World Champions have been ducking each other for years.

If Crawford comes to PBC he will be used as a showcase fight for Ennis

It took time for obvious reasons. Thurman and Porter weren't established fighters during that time, so it took time for the fight to be made since no causals knew who they were. So they fought other fighters to warrant the top 1 and 2 punch of the division. Garcia came late to the party since he needed a couple of fights to get comfortable with the new weight class. So it took longer to give him the big fights. Spence also came late to the party since he was a prospect. So it took time for him to get the big fights as well. But when those four became the top 4 in the division, fights been made back to back to back. Heck PBC bought Pacquiao rights, in less than two fights he was already fighting top-three welterweight fighter.

But this case is different. Crawford and Spence are known fighters now since they been fighting for over a decade now. So it's easier for the fight to be made. If it can't be made, it's obvious one of the fighters is afraid for the fight to be made.

Crawford has to go to PBC for the fight to be made. He's the B side, and all the big fights are in the PBC banner. If he wants a legacy, he has to change network or become a free agent. But like I said in my last post, he doesn't seem interested. Why fight big fights, if he can fight top-rank fighters for the same amount of money.

Floyd, Oscar, Mosely, Cotto, Oscar all paid out of their contracts from Top Rank to become free agents so they can fight the best.

Why can't Crawford do the same?

Funny that you can find excuses for Spence and PBC slow playing Garcia and Porter but seem to forget that PBC and Spence could work an undersized Mikey Garcia in to a money fight. This fight could be made anytime Spence wants the fight to be made. But the goal posts move or you have to listen to "let the fight marinate" or "he is on the wrong side of the street" or the fight must be "70/30 or even 80/20 nonsense. This is about PBC being afraid that those belts would go to Crawford/Arum if they box. Spence will got to 154 before he fights Crawford.

Listen we know all about the issues with Haymon and Bob Arum. They hate each other. During the past two decades, only two mega fights were made between the two. Fights are hard to be made. They will only work together if the money is right.

The PBC fighter mentality is disgusting, but Errol Spence is in the complete right in this case.

Terrance Crawford for the past 5 years has yet to fight a 10 ten welterweight. He only has one fighter in his banner that is ranked in the top ten. Which is Ortiz. And the moment they question him on live tv on dazn, he straight turned down the fight because he was too green.
So if your promotional banner only has one top ten fighters, and you refuse to fight him because he's a high risk, low reward. Wtf does Crawford bring to the table?

Crawford knows that fights between arum and Haymon are hard to be made. If the so-called "Pound for pound king" [ in top rank delusional agenda]. Why can't he purchase his contract and become a free agent? All the legends from the past did it. You want to be great, you make sacrifices to do it. Canelo did it, Floyd did it, Cotto, Mosely, etc.

He expects Spence to give him a 50/50 offer knowing that Crawford hasn't done anything in the past 5 years to warrant that such type of offer?
Spence has all the leverage. He fought the better opposition, he has 9 out of the 10 top welterweight fighters in his banner, has another belt holder in his banner.

There are only two ways this can go. Become a free agent and fight porter or ugas [who has the other belt] and strengthen his chances to warrant a 50/50 split, or he can swallow his pride and accept that he wasted 5 years of his life fighting the wrong opposition that could have helped boost his resume and make the fight happen with a 70/30, 60/40 split.

I honestly don't give a s*** if this fight doesn't happen. Since I don't like either fighter. But the one thing that annoys me is that I hate entitled boxers who think they decersve more money than they should. You want a 50/50 split, fight "f******* good opposition or make the sacrifices to make the fight happen, and win the fight and you can dedicate the term in the rematch. [Crawford, Wilder, Plant, Saunders, Lopez, Charlo, Garcia, etc.] Here are some good examples.

I was referring to Spence during the "Thurman Vs Garcia" timeline, He was still a prospect. He fought a world title two months later.

To the guy, I originally posted too

During this time Thurman Vs porter, Thurman vs Garcia, Spence vs brook, Garcia vs Porter, Spence vs Porter, Thurman vs Pacquaio, Spence vs Garcia.

All within 4 years. 2020 was halted due to Covid

So yes, if Crawford were to become a PBC fighter or become a free agent, the fight will be made easily. Say want you want about Haymon he makes fights in his banner, has long has his fighters keep winning.
