This is probably the best watch in boxing when mixing two highly skilled fighters together. I'd lean towards Mayweather, only slightly.

I think it will happen. But in 2009.

Mayweather will fight De la Hoya first, and maybe also a tune up (I wouldn't be surprised if this happen). Or maybe will fight De la Hoya twice, to complete the trilogy.

Cotto will fight Gomez, Margarito and someone else in 2008. Then in 2008 someone else before Mayweather, or maybe Mayweather.

It is supposed to happen if both continue winning and I hope they will. Thinking as a promoter (i.e. Arum) my work is to get people hyped about this fight and at the same time create money by increasing the boxers popularity and GOD knows these two will meet cause fans want to see it. I think it will surely happen by 2009. Go Cotto.

make cotto a bigger name first maybe put him in with a few lesser but still well known fighters eg. gomez and let him get a few spectacular knockouts and the hype will just build and build and the dollars 4 the fight will go up and up

im a big cotto fan but i would just lean towards pbf at the moment hes very adaptable and always finds a way to win
