All the emphasis on his safety, on "wanting to be able to talk to my kids"....Anyone else think that after his tough fights and beating in the lyachovich fight that some medical professional scared the hell out of him? I think Brewster is too much a man to make excuses but I saw a guy looking for a last payday before his body took too much and became damaged permanently.

Props to Wlad, he did what he had to do, and it was still a dangerous fight for him to take. And I think Brewster will retire with this last payday and his health mostly in tact. I'll miss Brew, he was by far my favorite heavyweight for his huge heart (fighting and his work as a rolemodel for so many young kids around him) his big punch and attitude. We need more people in boxing like him.
