Do you think that Pacquiao v.s. JMM III was a close fight?

115-113 for pac.. close fight, there wre number of rounds that could've gone either way

 

Oh Yeah? 85% of Paclanders believe Pac won. I am a disappointed Pac fan but I saw him winning 7-5.

 

How so? JMM got all the signature shots. Pac and esp Roach were clueless. Thats where they lost it. Get this, they came in to the fight trying to outbox Marquez. Nacho all pre fight has predicted that it would be the easiest fight of the three because Pac can box now.

Pac should have blitzed JMM like Juan Diaz and like Katsidis did and he would have set up a torrid pace. Imagine Diaz and Katsidis having more success than Pac I kinda lost a bit of faith in Roach, guys too one dimensional as a trainer.

 

what were they thinking?:nut It was funny seeing emmanuel try to box with Juan in the first round, but Juan simply agitated him with a few jabs to the body to let him know you can't try to outbox me.

So where was his usual victory parade when he returned home? What was the HBO poll again? I forgot the exact number but wasn't it between 10-15% of voters thought Pacquiao had won? Where do you pull your statistic from anyway?

 

I remember I had JMM with 4 clear rounds and Pac with 3 and the rest of the rounds were close that could go either way. It's acceptable to me if you scored it 9-3 for JMM, it simply meant that you gave the close rounds to Dinamita. I scored it 7-5 for Pac because I saw him outlanding JMM although JMM was hitting him harder and more beautifully!

 

If you checked pacland immediately after the fight, many people did not think manny won. They were even disappointed that he wrongfully got the decision.

 

I gave Juan 8 rounds but I could accept people scoring the fight for Pac. A lot of rounds were hard to score. I don't give even rounds personally so I scored it pretty wide for Marquez but depending what you like you could score it for Pac.

Roach is not a tactician. Never has been. That gameplan was the worst Ive seen, I was in shock watching the early rounds.

First, thats not Pacs style, far from it. Second, you have to push the pace and you can see JMM was able to pace himself, he hit Pac with 6 signature shots that pushed Pacs head back and thats the fight.

Rewatch that fight at the end of 4th rd JMM was getting tired, at the same time Pac was looking up getting frustrated on how to "outbox" him.atsch

Fact is Juan Diaz and Katsidis bested Pac with that performance by a mile, They stormed JMM from the outset because their trainers knew JMM was 37 fckn years old! Even Cassamayor did better.

 

All those guys got KOed so I don't see how they did better. KO>>UD>controversial win

I could see why someone would give him 4.

What I didn't like was how Juan didn't go as hard in the later rounds. He even said before the fight that he knows he has to KO emmanuel to win. Maybe it had to do with age?
