It was not the first time that Crawford called out Pacquiao (after he beat Brook). The first time I heard him calling out Pacquiao was in the post fight interview after he knocked out Gamboa at 135. It was many years ago.

Unless Bob covers his minimum $20 million I highly doubt it.. The only person that was willing to cover that and assist with his US tax debt was Al and that’s why he’s been on the PBC side of thing lately..

So there are many obstacles that delay this fight, right? Money, promoters, and fighters themselves.

I mean Bud was suppose to move up and challenge Pac for the WBO title before he lost it to Jeff Horn. Bob Arum publicly stated that he wasn’t paying Pacquiao $20 million because he wasn’t worth it anymore. That’s why many felt he ended up getting robbed of the decision against Jeff Horn. So now Bob still had the WBO belt he didn’t need Pacquiao anymore at that time..

How about the current situation? I mean Pacquiao might be afraid of fighting Crawford after the latter knocked out Brook.

Manny’s gonna go wherever he gets paid more and I highly doubt that’s Bob Arum as he’s wiped his hands clean of Bud. He now has Inuoie, Josh Taylor, Teofimo Lopez, Shakur Stevenson, Jose Ramirez, Beterbiev, Tyson Fury etc.. I 100% think he’s done with Bud at this point as he don’t need him..

I can't see any way Manny beats Crawford, it would be the best cash out fight for Pacman though.

I heard he's going to be running for president in 2022 so he needs to fight at least once next year.....not as much for the money as for the good will and boost it will bring for his political career. If he fights twice, maybe he can squeeze in a real challenge early in the year, a Spence or Crawford type and then win or lose there have a gimme fight which must yield an exciting knockout, the celebration of which he can use as a springboard for the campaign ahead.

He never wanted Crawford, so I doubt it.

Either Spence jr or TC really needs to fight him. Guessing the easier to make fight will be TC.
