Do you think the damage Fury and Wilder gave eachother substantially affected them as fighters?

He nearly did mate. I love how Usyk Nutt huggers are trying to rewrite it into some sort of 1 sided drubbing.

115-112 Usyk or 114-113 is fair but there were a lot of close rounds in there.

Fury won max 5 rounds, possible 4, so like AJ in the rematch. Plus Fury was knocked all over the ring by the middleweight rabbit he was supposed to chase all night.

Yes besides round 9 very close fight
Much closer than the 2 AJ fights were the scoring was terrible

Usyk won, but it was a competitive fight

Yeah Fury was well in control before the 9th. I'd have said he was 6-2 up or at least 5-3 but after that Usyk probably won every round. Last one was close.

Talking absolute rubbish. No point entertaining your argument. Joshua barely won a round in either fight. Fury won 5-7 rounds.

Some people take part in the sport, train observe. Others enjoy the drama and entertainment side of it. Been following this game too long to get drawn into it with clueless people.

No point entertaining your argument indeed. Saying AJ barely won a round in either fight and suggesting Fury might have won more than 5 rounds tells me you don't know anything about boxing.

No, I think that they took an ordinary amount of damage and were both sheltered from the toughest fights their entire careers protecting their 0s. Wilder maybe shouldn't even have been a title holder in a better era. The fact that he racked up 42 KOs and 9 defenses when he never learned basic boxing technique is a horrendous indictment of our competitive system. It proves that with the right representation you can have a decades long career entirely made of smoke and mirrors.

Across both fights the only clean round AJ won was round 10 in the second fight. Usyk was comfortably in control for the other 23 rounds and looked more uncomfortable against Chisora than he did AJ.

Personally I gave Fury 6 rounds, but with many rounds being close I can see why some would score one or two more to Usyk.

Fury took on Wlad at Germany where it should have been his toughest fight and comfortably won his titles. Not really the behavior of one protecting their zero.

Also, while hindsight is 20/20, he took on Wilder for his title when he was widely regarded as the heaviest hitter of the entire division and in his prime.

He took one chance, got lucky, popped for drugs, and then ran away from the rematch in one of the most shameful displays I've ever seen. Pulling a Floyd, he retires then comes back three years later to go on his can crushing tour which included an mma fighter and an ancient Derek Chisora.

Fury was hit hard but not often. It wasn't sustained. He barely got hit outside the KDs.

So now he didn't turn up? Which is it?

Klitschko was outclassed on home turf. Being stupid is trying to attribute a skillful performance to luck.
