The difference is, as it relates to Canelo GGG 1 and rounds 4-6 when I made that argument, Canelo did NOT land the kinds of massive uppercut bombs that he landed on Bivol in rounds 1-4. In close chess match type rounds as 4-6 were in Canelo GGG 1, without massive eye catching shots that swing rounds, splitting close rounds like that make more sense. In this case, we have bigger more eye catching shots that cause the judges to use those shots to decide those rounds.

And by the way, you're right in that giving Canelo each of rounds 1-4 is a hard sell because even with the big uppercuts you should try to split close rounds particularly if you can't decide who won. But on the flipside, big uppercuts like that make it easier to tell who won a round and you can score each of those rounds to Canelo based on those if you wanted to. BUT to your point, as I made with Canelo GGG 1 rounds 4-6, if you did split some of those rounds and gave some of those to Bivol, that's also reasonable given that he did have some success in those rounds. So what I'm saying isn't that you can't score some of those rounds to Bivol, and not recognizing them as close or ignoring the uppercuts is a separate issue to splitting close rounds if you can't decide who won a round which I'm glad you bought up.

It's cry baby syndrome. Regardless of what happens, win lose or draw, their panties are sure to be up in a bunch every time Canelo fights. That much is abundantly clear at this point.

Brilliant. So we agree it wouldn't really be fair to have Canelo sweeping the first 4 against Bivol.

You really should score the rounds yourself before offering opinions and making arguments about them though.

Maybe in 5 years time you'll do an rbr and come to the conclusion that on a fair card Canelo was not 4 up after 4, and was not winning the fight after 9, and was not 1 round from a draw going into the final 3 minutes. Maybe then you'll see what others see.

Funny guy, I can see why people have a hard time scoring each of those rounds to Canelo, at the same time, you COULD, just as you COULD score 4-6 of fight 1 to GGG. But . . . (and it's a big but) they're not identical situations. All rounds aren't the same, it depends what happened in the rounds, the kind of shots that were landed, what you're looking for to decide rounds what you value, like how impressed you are by big uppercuts or if you prefer fighters who outwork the opponent but don't land as clean. To each his own my man.

Really, you need to score this fight yourself. At that point we'll be in agreement. I just know it.

Judges get it wrong frequently, when they should almost never get it wrong. Canelo has received numerous gift wins, that is, wins where he actually lost the fight.

In Canelo's case, it is obvious that judges are rewarded for favouring Canelo - that is corruption.

It could be argued that Bivol won every round, but the judges clearly gave Canelo undeserved early rounds. This may even point to collusion in addition to corruption - you might expect plausible deniability by not having the judges know that the others are corrupt, but it seems like they've come up with a strategy of getting Canelo so far ahead that he only needs a couple of later rounds to win. He just didn't win any rounds.

PS how did you get to 115-112?

If they gave that fight to Canelo they would have all been sacked for good. That was just way too one-sided. They gave him 4-5 undeserved round, which wasn't enough.

Somehow, the quality of the judges is inversely proportional to the importance of the fight.

YDKSAB and you can't even address any of the OP's valid points.

OP said the fight was so one sided even the judges could not change the result.

    a) that is corruption.
    b) were they cheating off each other during the fight? "What did you get for one, how about three, two, seven, ...."

There's a lot of processing going on at the moment for ElCyclon/Shadow/IsaL/JM22 and Scar.
Take it easy on them, comprehension and common sense isn't high on their agenda right now. They're still getting their house in order after the Russian tornado tore through their fairytale.

YDKSAB. Stop idolising Canelo like a blind teenage girl - unless you are a teenage girl, which would explain a lot.
