Another Joshua hate thread from a sad pathetic individual. "Real" Joshua was never a thing. You could say he was more dangerous pre Ruiz but was he really, he was content to box with Parker and a few other fights where he wasn't "going for a KO", before Ruiz. He's pretty much boxed the same way throughout his career. Joshua tried to get behind his boxing with Dubois and I think Dubois recognised that and decided to turn it into a slug fest and Joshua obliged. As usual Joshua came out 2nd best. I think Joshua could still beat a few current top HWs. Some of the slightly smaller ones where he can use his height and reach, nobody with any overwhelming power. I'm not even confident he beats Fury.
As I explained in your other AJ hate thread the ''real AJ'' is not the one who shows up with his hands down by his chest, chin in the air, and like he's forgotten all his fundamentals overnight whilst making stupid mistakes even a schoolboy amateur wouldn't make
It was the real Aj A front running bully that doesn't like a big hitting animal coming for him Could you imagine how frightened Aj would look if he was going into fight Mike Tyson if they were in the same era? Lol It would be spinks all over again
Ditto mate I have stuck to my guns that bruno bear the brakes off him and land a stiff jab early to scare joshua
lol - sorry @Serge, but you guys cultivated this little monster. Don't try washing your hands of this thread that easily You did say that it wasn't "the real AJ"
Que? How am I trying to wash my hands of it? I never denied saying it. I did say it, I clarified exactly what I meant by it in his other AJ hate thread, and then I repeated that in this thread, and I 100% stand by it so there is no ambiguity about exactly what I meant by it and the OP knows it too For whatever reason, AJ who is usually fundamentally very sound was not vs Dubois and was making rudimentary mistakes from the get-go. I don't see what's controversial about that I mean everyone could see it on the night
The real AJ hadn't fought an opponent that had the ambition to win since Usyk. The real AJ could not deal with a young, hungry fighter that was there to win.
AJ is a Glass Jawed Fighter. Always has been always will be. He also has a very low Ring IQ. If he didn’t have a bodybuilder physique would anyone really care about this guy?
It’s the most “real” AJ we know in so far as how he fares against Dubois - because that is exactly how he did fare. Anything other musings are pure speculation. Pundits of today seem to run with far more ifs, buts and maybes than they ever did before. If a fighter doesn’t perform to forecast, they are often hypothetically “repaired” after the fact. Material complexions and results are the most reliable evidence.
Perhaps we'll see in the rematch because as I said he does have the talent to beat Dubois. What I hated from AJ that night was that he expected Dubois to give him respect and try and play it safe and not just go for the early KO just like every other boxer has done so recently, eg - Franklin, Wallin, Ngannou, even Usyk played the out-boxing game and was quite cautious against AJ. AJ's chin is suspect too, and he hates getting hit. But, his offense is very very dangerous though.
