It was real Joshua that for whatever reason had doubts about his chances against that particular fighter. IDK if they fought before or Dubois style was making him second guess himself, whatever the reason was you could see clearly on his face he was shitting himself walking to the ring.

I actually think the face to face shook him as well. Dubois had the demeanour of the champion, immaculately dressed, showed zero fear, and zero respect for AJ 'mind games'. There were also sparring stories suggesting a young Dan had had some success with the main event, so who knows. I've always felt people talk about Mike Tyson as a 'bully' fighter and to an extent they have a point. I've always felt that if you could drop 'peak' Tyson into any boxing ring with any heavyweight without him having time to think, he'd be a head to head nightmare for anyone...I'm kinda retrospectively getting the same vibes about AJ. If he doesn't have time or space for the doubts to become demons he'll do a job....

I'm seeing some posters attempt to diminish the Dubois loss by saying that Joshua was "post prime". That's surprising as this forum was ready to crown him king again after the Wallin victory, stating that he would CLEARLY beat Fury, and that Usyk III was on the table (this time, of course, a "focused" Joshua would get it done). What happened? How does a fighter go from "resurgent and at the top of their game" to "post prime"?

I don't think I've read posters make that excuse in this thread. Where are you seeing this exactly?

Remarkable that Dubois is now seen as limited and low IQ after his Usyk loss.

How did he outbox, outpunch, outfight Joshua so easily?

aj is overrated as hell. Nobody called him washed up and so many said he looked better than ever until Dubois smoked him and now the excuses are flying. They claim aj was never the same after Ruiz yet Usyk beat the best version of aj, only for aj to be shot months after dominating Wallin LOL !

Mental gymnastics. Dubois will gobble any version of joshua up like Crayola crayons

It seems like Joshua is healthy and prime when he wins, and past his best/mentally scarred when he loses. Very strange.
