Do you think there should be no 265 weight limit in the ufc?

Could have a super HW division I suppose just so they could get the really big guys on. But they're just freak shows up at that kind of weight don't you think?

    Yeah... American Sumo.

He was about 5ft4" or something... I thought he was around 290lbs. I may be wrong.

He had the cardio of a party ballon!

    That guy!

You still can get fat guys at the 265 weight class. Roy Nelson is an exsample of a guy who is fat.

I look at a guys like Brock Lesner or Shane Carwin, they had to cut a lot of weight and were not much over 6 feet tall. Even Silva is not that huge of man, he is only about 6'4. A guy that is 6'6 and built like Lesner or Carwin would not be able to make weight, and a guy like that could be the best heavyweight in the world.

They make them bigger then Lesner and Carwin. Those guys are built, but just about 6 feet tall. And they have to cut a lot of weight.

If someone was just 10 pounds bigger then those guys they might not be able to make weight at all. And if they do they might be to drained to be at their best.

Yeah if they were that good they could still compete in boxing, kickboxing etc or in mma promotions that don't have weight limits

When people get over 270ish they're basically too slow to really compete at the top level of sport.

Ross Clifton would have been the HW GOAT if the UFC didn't have that damn weight limit. RIP big fella.

Actually, he is another guy that the UFC is really missing out on.

What about big tall guys like for example Mark "undertaker" Callaway. He'd look anorexic at 265. Plenty of athletic tall guys that could never pass that weight limit. I think it sucks. If guys pass the medical exams... who cares if they are fat, as long as they are good enough to keep their UFC contract.

Even some of the guys in the Ufc now. Why should Silva have to cut weight to fight at heavyweight? Maybe he would like to add some muscle with more strength training. If he got jacked up like Dos santos I doubt he would be able to make weight.

Yep, being slower with less cardio would make Big Foot a ****ing beast...
