Do you think this fight exposed Foreman slightly?

Fair enough. Perhaps I recognize too narrow a meaning when I see the word "afraid". That's valid.

I think the Tucker thing was probably a lot to do with Don King. Foreman didn't need to get involved with King over such a trivial match. Also, Foreman was 46 years old and had beaten Moorer and everything was accomplished, he'd achieved the impossible, so dumping the WBA belt is no big deal to a man in such a position. The very fact that a Bruce Seldon can pick the belt up a few months later shows how little value it is.
Dumping a WBA belt is no sacrifice at this stage.

Not a fan of the Atlantic City Express? He was a fine champion.

He was terrible as a champion especially taking a dive against Tyson but ability wise, he definitely weren’t the worst fighter to hold a piece of the heavyweight belt.

If bruce seldon was a fine champion, provodnikov was a great welterweight.

Good athlete, no chin, lacking toughness at the championship level.

I don't think a fighter is exposed by bad showings or losses. I think wins are how you define a fighter unless he loses to the same kind of fighter over and over and if that fighter is just better, then you have to reevaluate.

The truth can be so irritatingly inconvenient!

Foreman beats any version of Frazier 7 days a week!
