Tyson has $3 Million down from $300 Mil - Holy has a half Mil - They both need to be careful with what they have left.

There is absolutely no evidence of fear or hesitation in his fights with Bruno. Tyson kicked Bruno's ass both times. Much worse than Lewis (or anybody) ever did.

Mike just wants to do a fun, risk-free exhibition. Holyfield isn't going to play by those rules and it'll devolve into a slugfest.

I think he knows that nothing he can do will discourage Holyfield. Holyfield would go in guns and cranium blazing.

Tyson is probably a bit wary that Evander is a bit dense, so he's likely to start getting ugly in there and not taking it like a glorified spar and turning it into a fight. If that did happen the beast is unleashed, Tyson likely ****s Holyfield up and has to live with it.

Holyfield is still ripped, but he's not physically in good shape, he's one hard hit from severe brain injury imo.

Holyfield shouldn't even be allowed to fight an exhibition

I don't think Tyson fears Holyfield

He's probably wary of how Holyfield will treat this ... I don't think Tyson intends on taking this any different than he did with Roy ... But Holyfield might have different intentions ...

Holyfield has kept himself in good shape by pumping weights.

He isnt in good fighting shape and I bet he doesnt have the financial resources to access TRT, HGH and other PEDs like Tyson has done lately.

Holyfield is also creaky and it would take a long time just for his body to even move like a fighter again.

If they fought tomorrow, Tyson would kill him.

Holyfield is broke and wants a money grab.

If Tyson said yes to a 3rd bought but all proceeds go to charity, would Holyfield agreed? No way in hell. He just wants the money to pay off his 45 baby mommas and feed his 7257 children.

I would.....a guy with no fear in him whatsoever..willing to trade and unable to be bullied...chewed his ear off and holy still wants to fight him again ..even if it is for the money..mike knows evanders not scared of him...that's probably abit unnerving to him

Yup. Holyfield would still **** him up if they ever fought. He has Tyson's number, all day every day - and Mike KNOWS it.

I dislike the word "fears" because it implies cowardice. I don't think Mike was afraid of anyone, except possibly himself. That doesn't mean he agreed to all fights proposed to him.
Almost all fighters exercise some discretion in who they face. Good managers do not sign for bad matchups style-wise. No fighter that climbs in the ring is a coward.
Tyson knows that Holyfield would have always been a tough fight for him. But that doesn't mean he feared him.

Without steroids and fouls Holyfield would get wrecked by Mike Tyson and Holyfield KNOWS it

And you can give Holyfield steroids and ability to foul ... He won't beat a prime Tyson with Rooney in his corner

Love these Tyson threads. Like he was known for fighting within the rules. I'd love for someone to pinpoint where in the fights Holyfield intentionally butts him. Great to see "Prime Tyson" making it's obligatory appearance too. Commander Vander just has his number. Mike knows it.
