Finally someone actually speaks some sense, it's amazing how many boxing fans (Especially Tyson fans) Haven't read his book where he point blank states he fought dirty, threw elbows and tried to break opponents arms. There's a part in the second fight where Tyson tries to break Holyfield's arm and he shrugs Tyson off and puts him against the ropes.
They are both geezers now and shadows of their former greatness. Tyson got his ass kicked twice by Holyfield so he probably fears another beating but this version is far less dangerous. I hat to see the old guys fighting, risking damage and tarnishing their legacies. Tyson was a bully and a coward. Holyfield showed him no respect in the ring and did t fear him. I think Tyson bit his ear off to get DQd and prevent himself from getting KTFO which is what would have happened if the fight continued. Holyfield had his number.
Holyfield didn't give as good as he got, he gave much more than he should have. There wasn't anything done by Tyson in those fights that warranted Holyfield headbutting him over and over.
It was a case of bullying the bully. He didn't give Tyson a chance to do anything, legally or illegally.
