Bulking up to around 230. He's had injuries, other lesser heavies have shown they can catch him. He may not be as quick as he once was.

Usyk will know that he's going to have win this by KO or by domination in order to get the decision.

Do you reckon he's gaining all that weight for more power and will risk it for the biscuit?

I think Usyk could definitely catch Joshua at some point with a counter hook.

Obviously. He has no chance on the scorecards. He has to chin Joshua before the 12th and even then they might just score the fight a draw. That being said putting on all that weight isn't good. He'll slow down and probably get caught.

Bulking up was a mistake. He’s not going to out muscle or out punch Joshua. He needs to set a high pace and gas him out in 5-6 rounds then go for the stoppage.

    It certainly looks like it.

So either he's going for it or its a bluff... But if it's a bluff, it beats me why.

He's not going to win on the judges cards, so it would be stupid not to try.

Well, according to AJ, he is trying to work on his stamina, He knows that Usyk is 15 round fighter and his stamina excellent, he actually getting better in the second half of the fight, so it would be very interesting to see what kind of gameplan Usyk has

AND let's not forgot that Papachenko is training him. I don't think we would see typical Usyk. He would be more aggressive in my opinion.

Why not just put this in the dedicated discussion thread YOU made for this fight or comment in one of the many other threads that already exist on this exact topic?

It is not mistake if he will plant his foot and go for KO there.
Win or lost, regardless how: he will be called as exposed hypejob from Ukraine even if he will won on cards in Eddie backyard: ppl here will post how half alive he was and like this.
Usyk is not from proper country and with this all already had been told: he already had lost vs commentators and judges and vs hometown ref.
Paychecks are things they ight for, all other bull**** about belts and glory is boring stuff.

I expect casual biased comments, home town ref ( british refs from my exp are worse world ever had, far worse than in Siberia ) and nice british judges ( worse human beings world might had ever created ).

    Like this.
Usyk should KO AJ and KO him in rematch and most likely in fight after rematch.
    Eddie and clauses.
Btw British judges are famous and refs too, it is hell for away corner kids and even if compare with this US is heaven.
    World's deepest HOLE level.

Because I wanted a discussion about this point specifically? If I post it just on the thread I made for that fight it may easily get lost in the ether, and also, if it's so important to you, why not speak to Rummy about creating dedicated threads to each fight, and any other thread creating about the subject will be deleted or transferred to dedicated thread itself?

I'm not the only one that's created a thread about this fight. Many people have created threads of far lesser effort on the subject?

With all the garbage posts on this forum I think this thread is perfectly fine.

I had saw enough garbage posts and claims everywhere before Bellew fight.
British boxing fans, commentators, pundits, judges, refs are worst thing world ever had created.
    LOL.
Garbage fans calling posts they does not likes as garbage while british pro boxing is garbage till it's core.

AJ is preparing for a tactical chess match which isn't a bad idea as he has an underrated Ring IQ. .

"You can either be aggressive, corner [him], throw everything at it. Or take your time, be clever, then knock [him] out," says Anthony Joshua who will fight Oleksandr Usyk on September 25, live on Sky Sports Box Office

Usyk's advantage here is that AJ isn't a very physical fighter. He's unlikely to bullrush Usyk and throw his size all over him. Usyk can keep him moving and gass him out , then swarm him late.

Not trying to be rude and I like the enthusiasm, but you just make an awful lot of threads and often they're things that have already been covered.

If the bulk doesn't hinder his movement and stamina too much while also making it harder for him to be bullied then it could pay off. Still... Probably 215-220 lbs he causes Joshua the most problems. This could end up being a major tactical blunder.

Usyk will box him early hoping to take him into the later rounds where Joshuas stamina isaues come into play.
