I like the guy and for someone of his sheer size and strength, some of his punches don't look that hard. However, they do seem to cause a lot of damage to quite a few fighter's faces. Why does he insist on throwing arm punches when if he put his whole body behind his shots ihe could probably have guys out of there very quickly? note - it probably doesn't matter now, he looks set to retire
Looking at his opponents faces id say he hits extremely hard not concussive punch KO power never really was but when he accumulates damage they fall hes battered some guys, he just usually takes a while to stop guys
And didn't Briggs say he hits harder than any fighter he ever fought? Maybe something along those lines, strange considering he couldn't even knock him down.
I wonder how many days it took Briggs to get any feeling back in his face after the Vitali fight :think
He's a 250 pound athlete so even arm punches are going to hurt. I've been hit by a 20 + stone guy and the sheer weight behind his punch was ****ing insane, It's not like taking a punch, it's like someone swinging a 30KG punch bag in your face.
He's never been the same after the Byrd fight. But yes. Given his stoppage percentage, there isn't a question.
Vitali Klitschko has the highest knockout percentage of any heavyweight champion in boxing history and that is a fact!!!!!!!
