No one thinks that except the idiots. He has a granite jaw, proven yesterday. The shots he took would have taken Arreola out 10x, + 99% of the other hw's might I add. Povetkin and Pulev definitely would have been SPARKED. :nod The only ones who could have taken those shots are Mr.Deontay Leshun Wilder and Mr.Wariusz Wach.
I don't understand the logic of some on here. It is like when Khan beat Maidana his fans said he had a great Chin :rofl then he got KOed again in savage fashion and knocked down against a handpicked feather fisted opponent. One fight doesn't make an Iron Chin. It doesn't work that way.
His chin isn't as fragile as I thought. I believe it's a combination of him having a decent chin and his height. With the height deficit, every shot Stiverne landed was at the end of the punch, the power had dissipated. That's simple physics. so is it glass, odds are no, is it iron (the jury is still out).
That shot by Harold Scorniers would have knocked out 99% of the other HW's out there, we must assume that.
This seems rather unlikely, given Sconiers record. Rather, it would seem more likely that it is an attribute of Wilder's that is responsible. I wonder what that would be???
Did Stiverne really connect with hard shots, especially in combination? I just rewatched it on youtube and I felt like Stiverne threw maybe 10 punches at best the first 2 rounds for example. I felt like it was just a terrible and predictable performance from Stiverne. I only wait to see how Stiverne performs against the next fighter he faces with a jab after seeing Austin, King, Arreola twice, and now Wilder all box his face off until he either lands a big shot or gets outpointed or stopped.
