If Wilder, Rossy and Minto are any indication ... no.

How come I never ever hear anyone mention Hockey, Lacrosse?

Go get into the ring with Povetkin.... then come back and edit your post.:good

Football and Basketball were around during the 90's too. Fighters fight. Being a great athlete doesn't make you a great fighter.

You clearly have an agenda. It can easily be explained by double tapping two of your fingers on your forearm.

Povetkin has SERIOUS skills. Anyone denying this honestly needs to find another sport to follow.

Yeah, I am from Ohio. I definitely have an agenda to prove that there are plenty of great fighters in the world at Heavyweight. Just so happens that the best fighters at Heavyweight right now aren't from the United States. Of course, me being an American... it is my biased agenda to prove that fact.:nut:nut

Guys with endless amounts more boxing skill than you. Get the point?

He could have been fighting a bag of sand with a watermelon head. The point is that you can clearly see his boxing ability. Povetkin has serious skills.

You don't know what the **** skill is. You're just a fan of a fighter. You're better off wearing a Tap Out shirt and smashing beer cans on your head.

What do you even know about boxing ability?

How is standing straight up, right in front of your opponent, not bending at the waist, not moving your head, having poor footwork, and and being one dimensional considered great boxing?

Did you not see that a fat and overrated Chambers that wouldn't have been **** in the 80's or 90's yet is a top contender today managed to land 60% of his punches on him.

Povetkin landed half that amount, and only won the fight because of his ability to take punishement and his stamina.

He stood right in front of Chambers.

Imagine him against someone like Tony Tucker for instance who wasn't even a standout in his own era because he was overshadowed by so much tallent.

You're a joke if you think he's a good boxer.

    Stick with the UFC.

Everyone has a chance at this level of boxing, however, I don't think that Povetkin matches up great against Wlad's skill set. I see Wlad rolling over him either early... or by breaking him down just like everyone else and taking him out mid to late rounds.

Now if Povetkin and David Haye would have fought. Povetkin wins that fight. However, on the other side of it... I think that although Haye loses to Povetkin.... I think that Haye couple possily provide a bigger risk to Wlad. Simply because Haye is a more dynamic puncher early on. That would give Haye a better chance of slipping something big through early on to try and finish Wlad off. That's just the only way that I see Wlad losing a fight to be honest. Someone is going to have to catch him with something huge early, and then be able to finish him off. He won't be outboxed. He clearly won't be gassing out again either. Either way.... Haye would also be destroyed by Wlad... just saying...
