I guess Wlad's moaning means that he expected Haye to follow up on his promise to fight a "war" and come forward at him constantly. Which would have made it easier for Wlad to knock Haye out if he could catch him off balance. Are Wlad's attacks justified? Well there was no clause in the contract that forces Haye to fight an open war I guess, I guess Wlad is just disappointed because he knows that once again he takes flack for an opponent who merely concentrates on not getting knocked out rather than winning the fight.
In that fight Vlad did not cut Haye down to size. He won the fight with a cautious jabbing style, but he did not cut Haye down to size at all.
And this is why I have to disagree with Wlad. The way he fought left Haye with nothing to do but lunge in recklessly and leave himself off balance - most fighters would love for their opponent to do this as it provides a great chance for the knockout, but he never looked to capitalise. Also, for most of the fight Haye was stood inside of Wlad's punching range with his hands down by his waist and his face sticking out. Then he moans that his opponent's negativity didn't present the opportunity to go for the knock out. When Pac fought Clottey he was frustrated because Josh just covered up with his guard and didn't open . Against Shane he got frustrated because Shane just back tracked all fight. I bet Pac would have loved either of them to stand in front if him with their hands down and chin out, or to lunge in with wild amateurish shots.
Normally Wlad is a gentelman...but Haye went way below the belt in the pre-fight hype where he ran and hid and then went to fight Valuof. Then again the trash and mean it insults for the finally real fight. What comes around goes around.... A big bit of spite. You trash me before the fight...for two years...and you meant it...well, I trash you after the fight...and I mean it. I don't like your mouth, and I just proved you ain't ****...so STFU. Haye who? Cold as an Ice pick in the ear...as devastating as a KO, was that tear down....heart breaking...and soul breaking. Haye has two choices hang around and pay others a million out of his own pocket to get some action, and hope to fight his way back up...or retire after all. No body has to fight him now....he can be dodged. If he retires he's a broken man....you weren't **** after all were you, big mouth. At the end of reach, where Wlad would have to over extend to get to him....not with in reach....there is a huge 'tad' of difference between being reachable with over extension, and being 'in reach'. In any type of fight I want you to over extend and come off balance. Haye has a very good eye for distance....Wlad did not over extend and get off balance. That was what the mind games was all about. To make him angry and ill balanced. Wlad stayed in balance, and that was the key to his win.
yea man i agree that face off interview with max kellerman david haye was just a ***** and as a fan he had me disgusted so therefore i was actually relieved that wladimir won because otherwise david haye would have talked more trash to call out vitali.
