Do you think Wladimir Klitschko will give it one last shot at boxing?

I have heard Wladimir express his goal to beat Foreman’s record at least once before. Do you expect he might give it one last shot against the winner of Fury vs Joshua next year?

I know Wladimir really wants to avenge his loss to Fury, so if Fury beats Joshua, which is what most people are expecting I personally think it could be likely.

    Lets hope not
He went out on a high note and by the time all these mandos are out the way, the unification fight if we even get it, and the Covid situation just how old will Vlad be?

Why not? If he came back today he is the 3rd best HW in the world. If he is healthy and can compete at the elite level I am all for it.

Probably. Seems like he's struggling to figure out life after boxing. He's keeping in elite shape and sparring a few times a week so...

    No, he will stay retired.
He was boxing for about 28 years of his life, a full-time professional boxer for 21 years.
He's got his feet up and his old man slippers on.

He'll probably flirt with the idea again and post something on social media, but I doubt he ever goes through with it.

I noticed he was training Holyfield for a possible Mike scrap.

I think he will under the right circumstances. The only guys he couldn’t beat right now are Fury and Joshua. That’s after being retired for 3 years.

And this recent interview Briggs says he knows “for a fact” that Klitschko is coming back

Wlads apparently coming back when he’s at the age to beat Foreman’s record winning the title

Wouldn't surprise me if Wlad made actual plans to come back. I'm sure top athletes spend every other second of retirement wishing they could go back.

But I assume he'll realize he doesn't have it anymore after he tries a bit of serious sparring.

I think if he was going to he would have already done it, I think the window has closed now.

He should have taken the AJ rematch he knew what he did wrong and how to correct it and that knockdown in the third just ended AJ having any punch resistance. I think at the time klitschko thought AJ would improve but he hasn't.

    He shouldn't ,but he will.

He doesn't have the rugged, iron-chinned style to be successful. But they never hang it up until they really get beat bad. He just did too well against Joshua.

Hard to see why he would want to fight tow guys who have beaten him and only gotten better.

Maybe he knows something we don't. Getting the gene therapy or something? I don't know.
