    Rahman wobbled Lewis a little with a left hook of all punches in the rematch. Lewis was there for the taking but Rahman had no gameplan at all. Stupidity on his part. And we all know how big a Rahman fan I am.

    To be serious...you are correct.

    You might have actually posted it, but I recall a Steward interview where he went into depth about Rahman. One great observation he made was that Rahman couldn't get his punches off if his opponent was throwing at him, he was the type that waited to take his turn. So he trained Lewis to attack, attack in the rematch and not give him a chance to get his power shots off. It worked and I also believe its the reason Rahman had so much trouble with Oleg.

    Yeah it was an interview with Steward and they spoke about Rahman. I truly believe if Rahman didn't blow up in between fights and took his career more seriously (mostly game planning) he could have easily been huge.

    Bouie Fisher trained him for just one fight and had told the guys at BT that if Rahman took the game seriously he could have dominated. I truly believe that.

    Nonetheless he had a good career, over achieved, and was pretty fun to watch. His fights with Maskaev, Sanders, Holy, and a few other were exciting. I would like him to fight Tua one more time and erase that garbage loss and draw. Shame, had he beat Maskaev in the rematch I think his career would have turned out better. He kept trying to KO the guy and didn't box like he should have which led to him tiring out. Like I said, bad game planner.

    There is also the story from Manny, were he went to Lennox' room the night before the fight to see if he was getting his rest. When he got there Lennox is playing table tennis. Manny says"what you doing". Lennox told Manny to relax and that "this going to be easy, Look at him (Rahman) whats he got?". It turned out be very easy on that november night in 2001. Has we thought Rahman was not on the same level has Lewis!

    A rematch between mongoose and noam would be interesting!
    But i understand mongoose only wants a rematch so he can see some more homo-erotic pictures!
