Not really. Marquez won 8 rounds the 1st time, got knocked down 3 times (once when he was officially down) very close fight, didn't get the win. Then he won another 8 rounds, knocked down once, close but clear victory, didn't get the win. And now scored the clearest victory with no knockdown penalty suffered, and still didn't get the win. We now have two conclusive facts: - Top Rank judges hate Juan Manuel Marquez and/or can't score for **** and/or are corrupt - Juan Manuel Marquez clearly won the rivalry Now that they robbed JMM, they better make the Floyd fight because that's the only thing that matters now, you can't sell a 4th Marquez fight, how do you label? "Will he get the decision this time?" Pac will fight Floyd and get a proper whooping, JMM will most likely get Morales and win a competitive one, and at least 3 of them will consider retirement given their ring age. We got what we wanted out of this rivalry yesterday, time to move on.
Marquez Go in there and slug it out go for the K.O. if you get knocked out you will take a loss just like those other "Robberies" but if you knock Pacquaio out you would definitiely win and no one can take that away from you!
No, Marquez has nothing to prove, he is a better boxer than Pac, plus they will find another way to disgracefully rob JMM, the first 2 you could atleast argue it due to the knockdowns in both fights although i saw both as JMM wins. Last night was blatant robbery, Bob Arum is a cancer on the sport and so are his judges.
