I don't know why people would ban Canelo for one test. If he is clean for his next blood test what is the big deal? Let them fight and forget the first blood test.

The real question in this thread, what this is all about is that last little sentence of the OP..

"If the fight goes forward as planned, will you give either fighter full credit if they win"

Canelo fanboys wants want reassurance Canelo will be praised and given credit if the dirty little ginger git gets a W.

That sentence is what this thread is really about, Canelo fans know Canelo has ruined his chances of getting a legit W in the eyes of most boxing fans already, forget scorecards, forget controversy, Canelo is now tarnished.

Canelo fans know they won't really be able to claim any sort of victory now should Canelo actually get one.

That's why the question of postponement is being brought up, they would rather Canelo pass a few more tests, be "clean" for 6 months and then go again because they know deep down right now Canelo has already ruined any claims to a legitimate win.

And check out the poll. Great choices, either postpone the fight and give Canelo some time to bag a couple of "clean" tests now he has been caught and give him time to try and restore some of his reputation.

Or agree two months is enough to ensure Canelo is clean, that's it, all clean now.

So let me get this straight, I either vote for Canelo to get more time to get "clean" Or just blindly accept two months and he is completely clean, therefore ignoring a recently failed test and all the questions that go with it.

Surely a simple Yes No poll would be a little better, I don't see why those little caveats were added.

I see no weighted choices here, let's all move on LOL.

    No.

Canelo has already dragged the fight out long enough, ensuring GGG is aging.

    Another great point.

How old do they want Golovkin? Canelo fans were saying themselves "Golovkin is 35 and on the slide".

I can see and hear it now, on the commentary..

"Finally we have got the rematch we all wanted, it's here, making his way to the ring first is the 45 year old Golovkin.."

GGG's team should demand weekly VADA testing.

Canelo would be unable to refuse.

My problem is that GGG is cracking up like old parchment as we speak. Ageing him another 6 months is almost as good as Canelo's favourite clenbuterol sundowner.

Absolutely not. Just test the living daylights out of Canelo up to the fight, and if he's good, then let's get this going. If he tests badly again, then just cancel the thing and give Golovkin another opponent. I don't see it benefiting GGG to wait longer for this one.

    This.

Of course by the time Clenelo is clean Golovkin will have a long white beard and need a walker to make it to the ring.

Because then all boxers will be allowed to get away with one......

The first test you fail isn't the first time you dope, it's the first time you're caught.

I am not an expert on it, but if it does not show in the blood, how much help is the person really getting? Residual muscle mass? I do not get what you are saying? I don't think many of us are experts on this, or know too much about it.
