Golovkin would struggle to make top 5 at 168... He should stay at 160.

I want that fight in Vegas at 160lb.

    Not in jokeland at 168lb.

Ward gets destroyed and fragile whiskers smashed. It would be a Boone type of fight from rd one..

No, he should stay @ 160 and clean out the division and maybe have some fights with Canelo and Cotto @ catchweight for some good paydays.

3G is a small dude compared with Ward, Froch or Kessler.

lots of people, including myself , want to see him vs Ward or Froch but I don't think it would be a good idea.

GGG is great to watch and very very good fighter, but i think(after last night) Ward schools him he just got hit to often against fighter levels lower than Ward, love him or hate him Ward is genius in the ring, he would interrupt every GGG move land on him almost at will since he is a lot a lot faster than GGG i just dont see a way that GGG can win.

    :rofl

He cant fight Quillen and JCCjr isnt making 160 anymore. Sergio is probably done really. If he wants a meaningful fight/big money fight then he needs to move up. He's 31

He's an HBO fighter so the idea of him fighting someone from the SHowtime stable (i.e. Quillin,) is unrealistic.

I don't see any reason for him to drop down to 154, why should he do that?? What champions who are trying to carve out a legacy for themselves actually go down in weight classes- from my knowledge of the sport, great fighters try to wipe their division out first and foremost and than they go UP in weight, not down. Him beating up on even smaller men at JMW doesn't do anything for his legacy.

If he wants to really make the most out of his potential, given his relatively small window to do so at 31 years old, he should fight the top HBO MW fighters, wipe out the division, than go up to 168. I mean for a guy with supposed "legendary" KO power like GGG, that seems like the most logical and pragmatic move to make.

Ward would completely humiliate him. GGG is a power puncher but he hasn't impressed me with his boxing IQ. Ward has the highest boxing IQ in boxing next to Floyd Mayweather.

GGG doesn't stand a chance unless he can somehow KO him and I don't think he's big enough to manhandle Ward on the inside.

Try to get a few more good wins at 160lb first then Froch or Ward at a catch-weight.

Andre Ward size and superior skills will abort GGG career, he is not a big middle weight despite Looking big v. 5'7" Stevens

He should go after all the Belt holders in 160, Clean up 160

Nah. Ward manhandles him easy, makes it an ugly fight in the pocket. Fvck that.

I'm more interested in Golovkin signing to fight the winner of Cotto-Martinez (Spring 2014) at the real MSG.

    THAT's his coming out party.

Ward can make some money fighting Froch in the UK or move up to 175 and make a statement vs Kovalev or Stevenson. Different paths IMO.

Yeah sure.... GGG has already been exposed as not being able to fight backwards. And we don't even know how he would handle the kind of pressure Ward is able to bring. GGG gets clipped and he would be wise to avoid Ward like the plague.
