I'd rather see Tank put Haney into orbit, praise Allah it will happen.

I don't think Haney robbed Loma per se, Haney just has an utterly garbage style and everyone knows it

People comparing him to Floyd need to understand PRETTY BOY was stopping dudes at 135. I really don't see Hands of Foam going places with performances like this in his 20s. Kind of a shame he gets all this hate but he doesn't exactly help himself when he opens his mouth

Pretty much, I always knew that it would be very difficult to beat Haney by decision. I thought it would be more one-sided than it was. Loma did better than I expected, but still lost imho. But he definitely did enough to genuinely feel that he won.

Although I believe Lomachenko deserved the nod or at the very least a draw, I don't think a rematch will produce a different official result.

Indeed if it's a repeat of the first contest, I think it will be scored similarly, with Lomachenko on the short end of the stick. Equally important, I'm not sure Loma can summon the resources to improve upon his performance tonight.

Personally I'd like to see him return to 130, collect some hardware, and retire.

A rematch wouldn't be different unless Lomachenko threw bodyshots consistently, which is NOT his M.O.

No because he can't realistically win. Haney is too big for Loma to outright dominate, and any close fight Loma legitimately wins will get called for Haney, with a bunch of people parroting that close competitive fights can't be robberies.

    So, no.

I would definitely watch a rematch. It wasn't explosive for the most part but it was exciting. Thought Loma won but it was a close fight.

It doesn't seem to just be America, whatever the yard is the judges correlate. Sad state of affairs. Should be sorted out easily. Pool of judges. Pool of refs. Etc

No. Too many rematches & not enough high demand fights made. Haney won a close, competitive fight that shouldn't be seen as a robbery or controversial like it's blown up to be.

It has nothing to do with throwing more body shots. Lomachenko stopped Linares with a body shot.

Many people, myself included, believe Loma did enough to win last night, but there wasn't a great deal of separation between the two fighters and that's unlikely to change in a rematch.

Moreover, from a physical standpoint, Haney is more likely to retain the resources necessary to win another grueling, high intensity technical affair.

Yes, but it probably won't happen. I'd like to see them both go through someone else first though.
