What would be the point? Erm, how about another great fight.

People were saying the exact same thing in the lead up to the fourth. And look at what we got out of it - a dramatic 6 rounds involving 2 knockdowns and brutal knockout. I wonder if those same people still feel it shouldn't have taken place? :think

I personally wouldn't like to see it again, as I believe Manny should retire. But I wouldn't argue with those that do want it.

Not really, as good as the four bouts have been, not really.

A fighter chasing his bogeyman to prove he can beat him. What a ****.

Yeah how pathetic it is for someone, who's just been outclassed in one outting and brutally KO'd in the other by the same person, to come back against the those odds and beat him. Yeah, big deal, huh.

    :patsch

How can anyone vote "No, it's time to move on" when these guys had 3 50/50 fights with the fourth favoring Pacquiao only to end up for Marquez? Pacquiao gave Marquez the shot back when his "Mexican brothers" wanted none of him and Pacquiao continued to give him shots. Now that Pacquioao falls short, Marquez owes him a rematch.

    Yes and No.

It'll be an exciting drama filled fight again while lasts, but I think Marquez would just end up stopping Pacquiao again. It'll be hard to watch that.

Wouldn't mind seeing JMM starch Pac one more time. Although, Marquez was taking a beating until Manny ran into the right hand.

So a 5th fight is still questionable as to who would win...

Nah. Maybe down the line, but Marquez doesn't have to be the hurtle for a Mayweather fight against Manny. That fight needs to be made before Pac is truly shot.

An overwhelming majority feel Marquez won the 3rd fight clearly. If anything, JMM signing on for a 4th was a courtesy to Pacquiao to prove the public wrong. He didn't manage to do it.

Yes and no, I'd like to see it but would be concerned as a heavy KO for either fighter is likely and would be hard to watch. Manny's health would be an obvious concern but also if Marquez suffered a similar fate this time it would be hard to take and it's possible IV took a fair bit out of him too.

The possibility of Pacquiao pulling off a stunning KO win after such a brutal loss is what would intrigue me most but at the same time I'd be gutted for Marquez if that happened.

    **** it, I voted yes. :!:

No. I feel it should be 2-2 and it's so clear Pac is the better fighter but JMM really really has his number and is so used to the weird style by now that he can deal with it.

Let's see Pac in against another style, clearly JMM has the style to beat a superior athlete and fighter in Pac, as Forrest did shane, as Mayorga did Forrest, as Benitez did Duran.

It's putting useless beatings on a guy who could still dominate others who don't know his style inside out from fighting him over and over and over and over.

Take away the fights with JMM and you see beat down after beat down with only a blip in the first Morales fights ... and a more trigger happy Cortez could have ended the JMM rivalry in the first round, making Pac look invincible sans one flukish headbutt/glove controversy.
