Id also like to add @Beouche , that Mexican boxing as evolved much more than just a pressure fighter being the definition of a "Mexican Style" boxer. It's evolved more into boxer/puncher type styles now but when I think of Mexican Style I think the body shot, a punch that Canelo has perfected to a tee, and used very well against GGG, Another reason I scored close rounds to Canelo.

JMM ducked a Pacwuiao rematch.. And JMM was always a finnesed boxer that can fight if he needed to. His style didn't really start to become more offensive until his fights with Manny Pacwuaio where he was forced to fight toe 2 toe. That' why his style of being more of a boxer kept him in the shadows of more offensive minded boxers like Morales and Barrera. Great, Marquez is, but he will always go down as one of the biggest crybabies to ever lace a pair of gloves.

 

I have to point that out to bacne and bigger physique he was carrying into that 4th fight. He looked smaller against Bradley, and in the 3rd fight against pacquaio.. it's clearly upto speculation, but I think he might have been roided for the 4th fight.

 

Well that tells me all i need to know about your knowledge into that rivalry

 

A 5th fight would have made sense since he lost 2 out of the 4 with 1 draw to boot. JMM has the best win out of the 4 fights but lost in the Saga that is Pacquaio-Marquez.

I don't support every Mexican fighter there is and never will. There's more to liking a boxer then just how he fights.. JMM is a crybaby, though I respect his achievements I don' like him as a human being.

I think JMM is an ATG, and that right hand was the best shot he landed in his entire career, but the bacne is up for speculation, and we know what that can possibly mean.

Also when it's all said and done JMM can surpass both Morales and Barrera, depending on who you ask. I think Barrera beat him and will go down as the better fighter of the two. Who's greater between Morales and JMM is highly debatable.
