Lennox dropped the WBA belt rather than fight Ruiz.....

Do you wish he had taken the fight and dished out a savage beating, so that we wouldn't have had to endure 8 more years of his fights?

Obviously Lewis dropped the belt because he was afraid of the mighty bearded warrior.

Presonally I think it would be pretty predictable. Ruiz hanging on for dear life until Lewis caught him with either an upper cut or an over hand right. End of story.

of all the heavies ruiz style would come unstuck v lewis.

lewis would be able to keep him on the end of his jab, step off and his power would make ruyiz reluctent to come in.

as well as lewis uppercut lead right being a very effective weapon.

lewis took on grant his mandatory instead of ruiz but took king to court in order to get his other mandatory ruiz put back a few months.

ot was king that won the court case and so we ended up with years of the ruiz v king fighters over and over and over again , no one else allowed to take part.

It would have been cool seeing Lennox beat the **** out of him. But it's more satisfying to just watch a replay of Tua-Ruiz :D:D:D

It is amazing how Ruiz either seems to be in a WBA title fight, or is the next opponent for guys contesting the WBA title.

Surely you would get bored of trying to win the same title after about ten goes?

One thing does scare me - if Ruiz somehow wins a title again, he will rank alongside the likes of.......

    Muhammad Ali
    Lennox Lewis
    Evander Holyfield
    Vitali Klitschko

    Now that would be bad.

Yes I wish he´d have fought Ruiz and then Grant, skipped the Botha fight and then fought Tua.

Lewis had too good a jab, was too physically strong and had too good an uppercut for Ruiz to get away with all his BS tactics. I´m sure Lewis would have KOed Ruiz within 5.

Yeah I think Lewis should've fought & KO'd Ruiz, we'd probably be free of him right now. Instead we have to endure endless shitty Ruiz fights............
