Do you wear your fight shirts (ie. tapout, cage fighter, FCF, AF, UFC) out 2 clubs and bars? i admit i have many shirts shorts and stuff but i dont wear it out 2 bars or clubs. I basically wear them 2 train in. its funny cuz i see ppl with it on and i ask them do you fight and 99 percent of them say no, so i say where do you train and of course they don't but they all say they want 2 so i invite them 2 my gym (they never show up). i think thats a sign of a poser. i mean i understand being a fan but i think they think its like a superman shirt it automatically makes them tough guys haha. oh well it just drivves me nuts

I know what u mean..Not a big issue as MMA is new in Oz but we still get the odd heroes that wear the gear eventhough they dont fight/train etc.

Most cases they are the new breed of bikies we got in Sydney.. Young heroes..

I brought a few Nice Affliction tees online that i might where to a club..

But i dont think they are Associated in oz as a fighting brand as not much people would have a clue what Affliction is..Alot of people think im wearing Ed Hardys with the word Affliction written on it..

I got my girl wearing Sinful gear at the moment. She loves it..

I'm pretty much have yet to meat a tapout or ufc wearing person that actually trains. I'll wear affliction(which is too expensive for me anyways) because I don't really consider it MMA t-shirt. For this particular case it was a clothing company before it was MMA.

I actually got approached once by a guy in the bus who got curious about me. I was wearing a full contact fighter shirt and he noticed it. In my neighborhood MMA isn't as well known as Boxing, most people around here know the sport by calling it UFC not MMA. So he asked me do you train? I said yes.

He looked at me and gave me a look like I was lying. Then he asked if I knew what submissions are? I said are you really asking me this? what kind of question is that? Then I guess to make sure I wasn't lying he asked what are my favorite subs? I said the death star & the kimura.

Then he knew I wasn't lying because he's a jiu-jitsu instructor and saw I knew exactly what I was talking about. I guess when people wear anything that has to do with MMA or Boxing the observer looking at the clothing just gets curious. I know what you mean, sometimes I look for posers too lol

I used to wear that stuff before the Ultimate Fighter came out making UFC/MMA the "in" thing to wear for the Hot topic crowd. Now I keep it all in the drawer and only occasionally pull out my Gracie jiujitsu t-shirts.

Mate im the same, wouldnt wear any gear with the fighters names on it etc..Though as i mentioned before wouldnt matter 2much in oz as no1 would even have clue what im wearing..

Mate we got a few Tapout Toughguys here in Sydney..Its a classic coz I know a few and they know **** all about MMA..If you didnt know any better they would have you believing the Iceman is still one of the top dogs of MMA...

Mind you these kind of wankers woudnt even know what MMA is..They think UFC is the sport..
