    ^^^^

    Pretty disturbing.

Great analysis, DOC. I agree Canelo's body shots will be key. His combos to the body are pretty damn vicious.

One thing I'll add is that because Canelo plants his feet to throw, his smart pressure can't be so high-energy. He needs to keep himself in the center and keep most of the space to his back. If he follows Trout around the ring like he does to other fighters, then he'll get outboxed. He needs to patiently cut off the exits and throw at long range and follow up by closing the distance.

Another thing is I think Trout can have success coming forward a times. Canelo gets a bit tentative when you come at him and starts to retreat on the backfoot. He still throws but not as much as when coming forward. Mosley showed that feints and jabs can give you the time and space to time a shot stepping forward or sidestep. But here I think Canelo will be more prepared to throw with Trout and give him less respect.

I also hope he's worked on his clinch game. It's not bad but not great. It would be great to be able to avoid Trout nullifying him by leaning and tying up on the inside.

I love to fish, go out to the lake, Crack open a few beers, put on some good music twist a blunt and kick back if I dont catch a fish if anything I catch a buzz.....

Crazy but just after I caught this one, my brother in law brought in a 10 pound Catfish, Usually when we go we bring in at least 10 fish over a period of about 9 hours.

Good times, I love the hobby, I hate bringing friends with me who tend to get bored with it, I do not find this boring at all its fun!

Havent heard anybody talk about Trout's ability to smother his opponents on the inside. He did this very well against Cotto, although Trout showed he could be outboxed when forced to lead. Not sure how that would translate in Canelo terms as he clearly is not as mobile and active as Cotto. Trout also proved to be very susceptible to hooks, especially as he pivots out after engaging.

Canelo best be aggressive. If he sits back like he did against Alfonso Gomez he will get slaughtered
