Found this on YouTube in more recent times. This particular upload is only about 8 months old.

Some of you might’ve seen it before but it was new to me. I’ve only had a cursory glance through but it looks cool and I’m looking forward to grabbing some spare time to watch the whole thing.

Always remember, sharing is caring. :)

There is an interesting chapter on Blin in the fine book "Facing Ali" which consists of interviews with Ali's opponents. Thanks for posting this.

Thanks for the heads up. I’ll probably chase that book down now.

read the book and watch the dvd with the accompanying documentary/movie of the same title - both are essential and very recommended.

Good book with an inventive concept. The book turns out to be more about his opponents than him, which is refreshing.

Thanks Tonto, Sal and Kid. I’m very selective re boxing material now so as to not hoard. My current library is under adequate control. LOL. You’ve sold me on this one however. Cheers.

Okay, again, I hadn’t seen this sparring footage before until more recently.

It appears to be Ali training for the Liston rematch, sparring Cody Jones.

This contains some of the best work I’ve seen Ali do in sparring, really gliding on his feet, firing the laserjab and some combos in sublime fashion, as good as in his actual fights at peak. And yes, we have snap shots of the rope a dope also. Additionally we also have Ali leaning on his man, walking him off the ropes and around the ring while allowing body shots (cringe).

Ali even narrates his methodology, saying something like “Wrastlin’, it tires ‘em out. Enjoy some peak Ali, even if just training, a lot better to watch than a lot of fights these days, imo.

Ali being "dropped" by Holmes in sparring. Not too bad. Could've taught Sonny a thing or two.
