For every David Price we have, you lot come out with a Seth Mitchell - whose hype was even more flamed than Price's.

  2. I never heard of Seth Mitchell before .. this guy wasn't even a hype .. Jennings and Wilder were bigger hypes ..

British in the internet claimed, that Price is a "god", the "heavyweight future" and the Klitschkos "duck" him .. thats more then hype, British people adored him ..

I felt sorry for Price, because he seems to be a nice guy, but despite we had to open the champagne bottle when Thompson shattered the British glass because of his fanatic followers.

Well, i honestly hoped that David Price would win, he's got great body dimensions for a Hvywt and seemed pretty skilled. A shot towards the back-end of the side of the head is prob the toughest, cuz its such a brutal equilibrium shot....

Hope Price can rise up from this and become strong enuf to take over the Klitschkos one day

  4. You saw Wladimir vs. Wach?? Now imagine Price instead of Wach .. come on .. this guy is 29 years old, he will never change.

Wladimir was 22 when he lost vs. Purrity ..

Nobody was saying things about Mithell like "he's going to be at least the unified HW champ. With price it's really a matter when he'll become an ATG not will he".

Come on, man. No one here, or anywhere, was claiming him to be a future ATG.

Really? Even after that embarrassing loss the usual british posters are still maintaining that he wins titles and smashes genuine top fighters to pieces.

Which is a pity cause Price seems a good lad. I don't know why his Country men can't just wait until he actually does something significant before claiming him as the messiah. It would be like a German claiming "Dimitrenko easily wins a title once the Klitschko's retire and would smash David Haye to pieces."

Where in that post has Jack claimed him to be a future ATG?

At most, he said it's possible for him to bag a world title. Which isn't the most ridiculous of claims seeing as though after Wladimir and Vitali the HW division is absolute garbage.

Those type of posts were prior to Thompson doing the business. I was just illustrating how the usual Nationalist bias still lingers on despite what happened to Price. Considering he hasn't actually achieved anything of note yet it's quite baffling.

Garbage? Even if so, there's plenty of hw's and cw's who would be licking their lips at the prospect of facing Price now and the coming years. The warning signs were there. Against a near 50 year old Skelton that set off huge alarm bells.

Can't really argue with any of that. But I have faith Price can recover from this and still maintain his world title aspirations through sensible match-making.
