Does 8oz gloves favor PAC or Floyd?!?!

the difference between 10 and 8oz gloves makes little difference either way imo

 

trust me there is a huge difference.

Anyway, IMO Pacquiao has the upper hand by using 8 oz gloves.

Anyone remember that Mayweather did wear reyes in the DLH fight.... that was odd, maybe because they were 10oz then? Or was that new rule even in effect in 2007?

 

De La Hoya picked out his gloves for that fight. That's why he was wearing Reyes.

 

Mayweather has brittle hands.

He just wants to land so he can win rounds. If a knockout comes it's a bonus for him. In contrast Pacquiao fights all the way. He wants to hurt the other guy even if he gets hurt in the process.

Considering Pacquiao's style and Mayweather's accuracy, Floyd will land a lot on Pac. Will brittle hands and 8oz gloves play a big part in the fight? Or will it end so soon that these will be nullified?

Oscar got ring size, gloves, and the weight of his choice from day 1. It was nothing new. Ive always called the guy a ***** ever since The olympic trials.

 

This is still not definite, Floyd still need to sign. PBF's initial offer "allegedly" is 10 oz gloves and Manny countered with 8 oz.

 

I think both fighters should be able to wear the gloves they want. Pac wants puncher's gloves, good. May wants his hands padded a little more, fine.
