It favors Pac but if they can pick any brand i expect Pac to wear Reyes as always and Mayweather to wear Grant or Winning.

nevada has the only rule that states that fighters can use different brand named gloves.

If this fight is in Dallas Stadium, one would think that the boxers will use the same brand named gloves. Of course, this can be changed for the sake of the fight.

Really with how much Texas and Louisiana want this fight and how much Pac loves his brand of gloves I'm sure they'll make an exception. No state is going to risk losing this fight over such a minor thing.

People believe 8oz favor "the puncher", but I actually think that they favor Mayweather. If someone it throwing a bomb 2ozs isn't going to save you. You can KO a guy in 16oz gloves with a bomb of a hook.

A stiff swift jab though? The speed and stiffness of the jab are going to be increased. Now if Manny can do body work? Maybe the glove helps, but again, that has to be done AFTER he gets past the jab.

If FMJ gets sloppy though and throws a lazy jab... Manny could end the night.

No the Nevada State Athletic commission says that the fight was to use 10oz gloves. It required agreement from Manny to drop the glove size down. :deal

Man where in the hell do you get your boxing info? :patsch

    LMAO!

  8. PAC would much, MUCH rather 8 oz's and I was expecting Floyd to demand 10 oz's because of that. I'm pleased that he didn't.

Would favor Pac, but I expect Void to demand 16 oz. gloves and he will want to wear a catcher's mask. Void will, as usual, have his referee, his venue, his ring, his judges, his commentators, (to tell you who is winning the fight), etc. Void does not believe in a level playing field.

Floyd has used ten ounce gloves once, against DLH, and that was because De La Hoya requested them. Floyd did not like them. Until there is some shred of credible evidence (Freddy Roach is not a credible source) that Floyd requested 10 oz gloves can we just put this bull**** to rest because history shows that both guys are just fine with 8 oz gloves.

I think he had to wear 10oz for that because it was at 154. Mayweather didn't like it, but not like Oscar had a choice. That came from the commission.

PBF will wear Grant but smaller gloves favor the puncher.

It favors Pac all day long. Pac is the puncher while Floyd isnt. Plus would benefit from the bigger gloves when it comes to blocking and using his defense. The extra padding on the 10oz's would also help Floyd cope with his brittle hands.
