    His jab looked good against Marg.. No he isn't as fast on his feet as Hatton but he's not slow by any means and he's faster than Castiilo was when he was cornering Floyd... And Shane knowws how to cut off the rig which will negate the foot speed.

    Also from the other post when Shane fought Cotto he was bouncing up and down between weights... I don't think his body was 100% with all the weight jumping he was doing during that time.. Not to mention Richardson will set a gameplan for Mosley to follow which is a new thing for Mosley..

    The BB gun guy can win if he blinds the guy with the shotgun b4 he has a chance to get off a round.

    :patsch:patsch Jezz let the Castillio analogy die already.. Floyd is a different fighter then he was 8 year ago.. infact he improved on that fight in the rematch.

    The real question is can a squirt gun beat a taser if the taser is stuck in a wooden box and the squirt gun is one of those super soakers and there's no way to get the taser out of the wooden box and the squirt gun is already submerged in water? :think

    no comparrison at all with any of those fighters. PBF is a better boxer and Mosely can be outboxed proven by his 5 losses. Mosely isn't always the smartest fighter . want proof look at his recent struggle with Mayorga prior to Margocheato. sorry but shane will be frustrated all night. he's not closing the Gap at all. and he isn't forcing PBF to fight his fight. Mosely is very open to the Jab and PBF hits hard enough to Keep any fighter Honest if he didn't he would of be rushed along time ago and Ko'd or at least bettered .

    Comparring Pizza to Cheese toast. who's jab wouldn't look good agaist Marg. Pbf doesn't run backing up. he side steps and counters. Nazim is a great trainer and he can set his game plan but shanes nature and habit of speedy brawling and over commiting will betray him yeah sure he was able to excecute a game plan agiant the no jab, no head movement , no defense having concreto. but againg how is he like PBF. to the point Shane is going to be out smarted and out boxed.

    Besides Cotto the guys who outboxed him used reach, height, and size...Floyd possesses none of those advantages over Shane... Mayo fought a very different fight than we've ever seen him in, I'm pretty sure you'd agree this wasn't the bull Mayorga, but he played more the matador that night. Not to mention he came in 170 fight night. The man was using footwork and stayed on the backpedal alot that night, he fought very smart.
    My problem is that Shane can be outboxed, but I don't think Floyd has the tools (size) to do it. Wink, Forrest, even Oscar were able to dictate disatance by their reach and height,,when Shane was able to close the gap these guys were physically strong enough to toss Shane with equal strength..
    I've got handspeed slight advantage Floyd.
    Footspeed bigger advantage Floyd...
    Stamina hard call slight advantage Floyd..
    Punching power advantage Mosley..
    Strength big advantage Mosley..
    Accuracy Floyd..Combination punching Shane...
    Inside fighting even...
    Bodywork Mosley..
    Ring generalship Floyd..
    Chin Mosley hard call but Shanes been hit by monsters..
    Experience against elite prime fighters Mosley.

    lol..No comparison, but we have to look at recent fights.. We can judge how good Floyd looked against JMM, but we also know JMM is no welter...Shane likes to trade and will be looking for it, but I also think that at this stage he'll be happy enough of getting inside and getting the better of the exchanges.. If he only looks for the K.O. he may be stuck, but if he plans a great body attack and wearing Floyd down the stretch, alot of people may be in for a big surprise..Floyds greatest strength is his calmness in the ring and his ability to know what's happening at all times in that ring. Floyds been known to go into retreat mode... That won't win rounds against Mosley.
