Does a Draw destroy your record?

A draw can destroy your record, family, relationships and in certain cases your health, that's why doctors don't recommend it.

Seriously, draw means nothing, in fact draws are overlooked as they are often considered no-results despite fighters put a lot of effor to get it say Marquez-Pacquiao or Wright-Taylor.

 

Losses and draws don't mean anything in boxing when you face the best, as you should already know 99.9% of all the greats have lost fights, that's the reason they are greats, they fought the best and formed a credible legacy.

 

Calzaghe beat Hopkins in America with 3 American judges at a new weight with Cortez as the ref landing more shots on Hopkins than anyone ever and scoring the single highest scorecard against Hopkins ever, yet this fool calls it a clear win for Hopkins . Calzaghe moved Hopkins around the ring at will and if Hopkins thought he was winning, do you think he would have been trying to get time out and points deducted off of Calzaghe? I dont either.

As for Reid, I doubt you have seen the fight, but let me educate you. Calzaghe was fighting away. Calzaghe was clearly outboxing Reid until he broke his hand in the 4th round, he hadnt lost a round until then. Calzaghe still clearly beat Reid though Reid did land some very big shots that Calzaghe shrugged off and won. 2 of the 3 judges scored for Calzaghe by 5 rounds as did all of the commentary team except McCrory.

Hopkins though couldnt beat R Allen one of the times they fought and couldnt beat J Taylor twice.
2 Good away wins noted for Calzaghe noted, but when Hopkins fought away twice in world title fights, both times he was floored twice and couldnt get up and win only getting a draw in both, and one of those was against Mercado and the other against Pascal who Froch took the 0 of

As for Reid, he was an odd fighter that if up for it, was very good, but he could also switch off and not do much. Still if you are not impressed with Reid consider he won his world title away in Italy, defended against Cherifi who went on to become WBC MW champ, beat world raqted and top 10 SMW Wharton. Reid just didnt do anything against Malinga but then fought his heart out against Calzaghe. Reid went on to look very unlucky against Ottke, one of the best SMWs ever and beat undefeated B Magee (Butes last challenger) and Brinkley (Butes challenger before)

 

Perfect record don't mean ****, Mayweather jr career will always be in question even with his perfect record. He never fought the best in his time. Mayeather getting booed wherever he goes because of his cowardice.
