Does a pre Don King prime Mike Tyson beat any fighter from any era?

Is it far fetched to think this? In his absolute heyday, who would be able to beat him? Everyone brings up his losses in the 90's and early 2000's to the likes of Buster Douglas, Evander Holyfield and Lennox lewis, but the fact of the matter was, it wasn't the same Mike Tyson who was the most feared man in boxing in the 80's and this has to be taken into consideration. So asking this question, is it possible prime for prime, he wouldn't lose to anyone head 2 head hypothetically?

No . Although he was very good and super exciting to watch , he’s just too small against heavyweights like prime lewis .

Depends, if the ref allows excessive holding then no.

Lol! No. Prime Vitali abuses him worse than Mike did to Robin.

People forget but Holyfield and Tyson already had a contract signed to fight after Tyson-Douglas and Holyfield was looking beastly in all his fights at HW at that point.. I believe that fight had the potential to be possibly the most skilled HW fight ever had Tyson not been stopped by Douglass.. The world was robbed of a fight between these guys in their absolute physical prime.. I don’t think Tyson would have been the clear cut favorite in that fight.. But Tyson did have his limitations against tall skilled HWs so it’s a toss up against a Prime Bowe, Lewis and Vitali.. It’s really hard to judge HWs from different eras due to the change in styles throughout the years..

I doubt it, as someone mentioned previously in this thread. Clinching will make it difficult for Tyson to beat the bigger dudes. Him and Tua both in their primes could have produce the best firefight in history, I can't really pick clear cut favorite to win between the two.

No. He's top ten all time head to head but I think Ali, Joe Louis, Larry Holmes, Lennox Lewis, Evander Holyfield, The Klitschko brothers, and George Foreman all beat him prime for prime.

No, Tyson was one of my favorite fighters, he was damned good before Don King destroyed his life and career, but I don't think he could have beaten all fighters..................in history..................

    NO.

There wasn't, isn't and never will be a fighter who would beat any fighter from any era.

Bonecrusher and Tony Tucker showed how you go the distance with him. Tucker used his jab effectively.

    That was 1986-87 i believe

Prime Mike Tyson (up to & including the Spinks fight) is the best heavyweight I've ever seen.

    So my answer is yes.

I don't think a lot of those big guys who had the skills to do something with him could withstand getting belted on the chin hard & often. You can't tell me that anyone who fights prime Iron Mike doesn't get hit on the chin hard & often.

Someone with Lennox Lewis' size, skill & a granite chin could have beaten him.

    But that fighter doesn't exist.

Post Spinks, any one of a number of fighters could have beaten him (and did).

But how can you be so sure when he wasn’t matched up with elite guys in the mid to late 80s.. that’s why it ducked that he didn’t beat Douglas so the already signed Holyfield fight could happen.. And let’s not discredit Douglas on that night that fought the perfect fight against Tyson.. Tyson touched his chin and dropped him but he got up.. You honestly believe the Bowe from Holyfield 1 couldn’t do that.. Vitali couldn’t keep him at bae.. a prime Larry Holmes couldn’t jab him to death... Even in the Donovan Ruddock fight he was tagged pretty good.. watch the Tony Tucker fight.. Not saying he’s not a head to head nightmare but other he had his weaknesses

He's a strong candidate goat h2h but prime versions of Klits and Lewis would control him imo.
