Vitali struggled with the limited Chisora...and that was 5-6 years ago.

Has anyone considered 41 year old Wlad demolishes Rocky anyway? Not sure HOW Wlad is being used as a measuring stick to determine how good Joshua stacks up? smh

Why would a Wlad or Joshua win prove ANYTHING on a 185 SLOW footed and puncher with 5 oz boxing gloves on decide if Joshua would or wouldn't win?? Really this is why most people cant differentiate whats actually logical with these fantasy type matches.

Joshua would BLAST Marciano before rnd 3 or sooner if he wasnt looking for rnds. Give me Joshua in his pro debut too.......and thats really the only fight where Marciano has a chance.

you do know Vitali was fighting with injuries and his actual prime was not after 2006 or so.....V.K crushes Chisora before then at any point. Tyson struggled with Botha ,find me anyone that thinks Botha lasts more then 3 rnds from 1987 to 1995. Different circumstances but simple logics will present itself not putting a a year where a fighter was somewhat depleted.

    Marciano is not slow.

You can toss that into the "1900's Boxiana Myths" bin.

He was perpetual motion that could go into explosive attacks at any second.

Sitting down with a few beers to watch the fight.

I actually want both Wlad and Joshua to win here.

I guess that is the one thing I can’t have!

Joshua answered the questions about both his stamina and chin. He took some big shots from a legitimately hard hitter and was able to win the match in the late rounds. Granted he was facing an aged opponent on his last leg, but that opponent was still a very large man with a big punch and with great conditioning not to mention experience.

This fight was over in the 5th. And Wlad could had have ended it anytime up until the 8th. It took Joshua 2 full rounds to recover. That is Wlad at 41 and not finishing. 5-6 years ago this was over in 3. AJ will not be a competitive heavyweight within 5-6 years. By 35 he's a bum. A 37 year old Joe Louis was much more shot than a 41 year old Wlad. But for the same reasons we don't say Louis was better than Marciano based on their match we cannot say Joshua is anywhere near Wlad. In 7 years we will see. I have a feeling his "reign" if any will last less than 3-4 years. Still not impressed.

Yeah te 5'10 180 pound Marciano who never fought a modern sized heavyweight would beat the 6'6 250 pound AJ.

Marciano doesnt have the MASS to win this fantasy fight, match him up with other sub 200 pounders.
This isnt me trying to disrespect him at all, this is just an unfair situation, there are LHWs today that rehydrate to more than what he weighed in the ring.
Im telling you it doesnt matter how hard you hit if you're at a size disadvantage like that your punches will look like nothing ESPECIALLY if you dont have the "snap" kind of power that comes with handspeed, shoulder snap and accuracy.

When I was boxing I weighed 210-215 in training at 6 foot even and sometimes I sparred some really experienced, fast and crafty 175-190 pounders that looked like dangerous punchers against guys their own size but when i sparred them, I walked most of them down because although they made my nose bleed they couldnt keep me off just because of my size and physical strength. My Coach even told me to box them because he wanted me to gain experience and if i came straight at them they would bust up my nose(I have a the type of nose that bleeds and breaks easily) trying to keep me off with all they had but i didnt really feel their punches, when they tried to tie them up i could just kind of turn my hips and throw them at the ropes like I was picking up a child under his armpits and spinning them.
Sparring 6 foot 3-5 235-245 Guys completely different story, those guys will shake you up and make you lose your desire to come forward real quick. If you come at guys that size that can fight, in a straight line with no headmovement you're gonna find yourself looking at the floor. When one of those BIG guys feels aggressive its like fighting a wall thats coming at you. You need quick feet, quick hands to come right back at them and stun them when they push you off or you need to turn them and keep them from planting their feet.
I imagine Marciano coming at Joshua eating a Jab and stopping in his tracks then eating a 1-2 and going down, this is repeated over 2-4 rounds until Marciano stops getting up or his face is destroyed and the doctor stops it.

These delusional Marciano fans right? Lol he beat 180 pound fighters. Never fought a modern sized heavyweight a day in his life. But some how the OP has him ranked 10th all time at heavyweight. Wouldn't you have to fight and beat a heavyweight to be considered a top heavyweight? That is like me saying Floyd Mayweather is the top light heavyweight of all time . Even though he isn't a heavyweight and never fought one.

Just ignore these Marciano fans. They care clearly the worse fans in boxing. Worse than Mayweather and Pac fans. Worse than Tyson fans. Hell they are even worse than Conor McGregor fans. Marciano isn't a heavyweight, never beat a heavyweight and isn't a top 1000 heavyweights of all time.

AJ is overrated. But he is still a modern sized heavyweight. He would destroy Marciano in one round. So would Wlad and Vitali K, Mike Tyson, Riddick Bowe, Lennox Lewis, Deontay Wilder, George Foreman and 100s of other modern sized heavyweights.
