About the top pic....... The guys standing around are not there by choice, they were pulled into orbit around Shaw's head. Look at the size of that damn thing.
He is clearly a few feet behind Abraham and Dirrell, and even with diminishing size due to perspective, his cranium is still Clottey-esque in comparison.
He looks more like one of the seven dwarfs in that picture. Kind of a cross between Sleep and Dopey. Slopey just doesn't work somehow... :think
Scar's been this way ever since Pavlik beat Taylor and that isn't going to change. I think we all know Taylor will NEVER beat Pavlik now so this is all Scar is left with.
Clottey's head looks like he's got smth inside an it's trying to break through his forehead and escape This content is protected Let me out!!! PS Jerry Jones or whats his name looks like the emperor from star wars.
But to suggest Abraham ran scared from Pavlik is absurd. Abraham is obviously open to fight anyone, anywhere at any time.
Saurland is pretty good at marketing. No one has ever offered any credible evidence that he negotiated for a Pavlik/Abraham fight in good faith yet posters here are convinced it was Pavlik that ducked the fight. "Calling out" a fighter, or mentioning him second to ODLH, means nothing. It is what happens at the negotiating table that counts. Saurland was supposedly in New York negotiating for a Pavlik/Abraham fight and Abraham was saying he was staying at MW to fight Kelly when it was pretty clear the decision to move him up to SMW had already been made. A year late at that judging from his fights. I took a lot of heat for pointing out he was in no shape to fight Kelly at 160 the last year he was there even though it was painfully obvious.
Yes, both Arum and Sauerland spoke openly about making a fight, and both were seemingly interested in the fight. But for boo to say that Arthur "ran scared" from the middleweight division is ludicrous to say the least. Arthur said prior to the Marquez fight that he would not be long at 160 and that he hoped to make a fight with Kelly Pavlik soon or he'll be out of the picture. As time went on, Abraham left the division to seek bigger and better things, the SMW division was made and Arthur boarded the ship to find out who is legitimately the best 168lbs'er. All we're saying is, Arthur has never had a history of ducking nobody, and definitely wouldn't have ducked Pavlik had the opportunity been available.
