Not gonna happen. Taylor is 168 now. Well, supposedly. Haven't seen him fight there yet. Abraham doesn't move up to face him at this point.
AA as more power thats for sure, and I think Pavlik as a suspect chin wich could lead to a great fight
Around here knockdown = knockout = bum. You can question a chin when the guy DOESN'T get up. Taking chances may get you knocked down, but if it helps you win the fight then it is what it is.
Abraham absolutely has more one-punch power, but Pavlik does more cumulative damage because he throws so many more punches.
Abraham probably hits harder, but most likely not by much. He's definately more built and could bully Pavlik around strength wise. Either way, I don't think an opponent would intentionally let their guard down to get hit by either while maintaing a smile in the process.
I think AA hits a little harder from his haymaker but Pavlik is by punch by punch. Also AA does his possom attack which adds to the effect. Pavlik just beats you down.
Let's use Mirandas face as the benchmark. Abraham had 16 rounds, while Pavlik had 7 rounds, look at Miranda's face after his fight with Pavlik and look at Miranda's face after either fight with Abraham. Even after last nights fight, Abraham knocked him down 3 times, but they weren't hard concussive blows. Miranda hardly had a mark on his face. Anybody have a better way to gauge than that??
miranda had more damage on his face against pavlik cause pavlik hit him with over 200 punches. abraham hit him with less than 10 and knocked him out.
then how do you explain abraham starching miranda earlier and after throwing 100s of less punches than pavlik? i say its because he hits harder shot for shot while pavlik is more relentless.
No. Just how people prove their worth around here. Actually this is a quite testable matter. There IS apparatus designed for this.
The ghost can be thanked for the recent Arthur Abraham victory ... if it weren't for Pavlik giving Miranda his first real loss of his career then we wouldn't have seen that display put on by Abraham Saturday night. Pavlik beat this guy all around the ring ... back him up ... took his heart away. Dropped him for the first time in his career -- Miranda was quickly reminded of that once he was dropped by that straight right hand ... the same hand that ended his night against Pavlik. I'm sure if Miranda had never been knocked down before in that type of fashion he woulda just fought back as hard as he could. But the look on his face was "here we go again" ... It wasn't Abrahams punching power that did anything ... it was that night in atlantic city that finished off Miranda. If that were the case then Abraham wouldve knocked him out in Germany when they fought the first time. I think that Kels need to get more credit than Abraham for that victory and if he and Abraham ever fight, he's going to further prove that by give AA his first loss and first KO loss of his career. He did it to Taylor and Abraham is no better.
For sure and when AA would KO Pavlik you would tell everyone that it was just a lucky punch and that Pavlik oliterates AA in a rematch... :hey
