and Pavlik could break him down to a tko which would mean the end of the fight but I don,t understand why you are bringing the Mack knock down of Andrade
You mentioned Andrade having a real good chin - but even he could be dropped if being hit at the right moment/place. Plus I wanted to refer to AA unconventional hooks which can be blinding...
atsch you just proved my point, youre one dumb poster, you think pushing a 400 pund tire makes u any good at boxing? wtf are your talking about, overral stenght as nothing to do with the outcome of a fight, Pavlik is a realy good boxer but haveing groupoies like you doesnt help him. I can see Pavlik as real good potential and could beat AA, but I'm not a groupie and can also see that he was hurt against taylor and that AA could and would probably hit him flush a few times and we dont know what could happen, plus AA is one toff mofo, it would take a lot to put him down
Bute 6'2 ... great agility ... great speed ... great ring savvy ... and good skill ... he still has a window of improvement. I wish they would showcase this guy more to the American public ... and I hope that the IBF gives this guy some decent opposition so that he can improve. Solid 28 yr old
Pushing a 400 pound tire = strength ... overall strength and pushing that ***** down a field can contribute to his endurance. He's one of the hardest workers in the sport and does a great job of absorbing knowledge and learning from his mistakes. Sticking your chin out and taunting any professional fighter can spell trouble for you even if you have an iron chin. He made a crucial mistake and paid for it ... he also came back and knocked Taylor out. I wasn't saying that AA wasn't tough ... hell he fought a fight w/ a broken jaw and won. He's just not that good of a boxer ... anyone with the slightest of skill will pick him apart. He leaves his mid section open for bodyshots and he swings very wild ... leaving himself open for a straight counter. He doesn't have much of an offense either ... he missed badly on more than one occassion against Miranda - which is because of his short arms. Kels would keep him at the end of his punches and make him work for everything he gets -- I also think that Kels' inside game is more effective than Abrahams.
I'm not a Abraham hater or a Pavlik groupie ... I was actually mad that Pavlik beat Jermain Taylor (twice) I was especially mad when he knocked Taylor out. I'm not bias towards anyone ... i'm matching these guys up on what i've seen. Styles make fights and given Kels' style Abraham would be tailor fitted for him to KO - The type of fighter to beat a Pavlik would be someone like Bute, Dawson, or maybe even a Dirrell. I could say Kessler but i'm not completely sold on him as of yet -- only seen him fight a couple of times and wasn't overwhelmed by what he did --
Pav has some real heavy hands....his punches are the kind that can hurt you, but you seem them coming. His punches Stick with you and break you down. Abraham acutually has good speed for his size and wieght. He's more explosive and one punch with the speed and velocitiy will end up shocking his opponent, and sometimes putting them to sleep if they were not able to see it coming. Abraham did well and deserves credit. I think a fight with PAV will be a great fight but I'll go with Kelly if the fight happens.
I think Abraham has more one punch power but Pavlik's got the ability to wear you down based on workrate and with an unrelenting style.
Didn't Abraham not close the show at all in their first fight? It's not fair to judge them on their Miranda fights since Abraham had two fights against him, and faired far worse in his first. Anyway... it is pretty clear that Abraham has stronger flash ko power. However, Pavlik has power as well and a much higher work rate, which results in his better KO %.
1. False (AA would've knocked Miranda out in the 1st without his injury) 2. True (Pavs combos are precise and powerful). AA on the other hand can win a fight with one single punch.
