First of all, Floyd Mayweather is the biggest hypocrite in the world living and acting the way he does. His GOD is $$$$$$$. Broner will be much better, and I hope he truly believes in God and gives a sincere thanks.:cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool:

    God isn't real

    God didn't help you
    God doesn't care about you

On the other hand a dog (god backwards) will help you and care about you.

    The real question is...

Why don't more boxers thank their dogs?

He probably has something in the back of his mind telling him to thank God, but he does it exactly like Floyd.

As much as Broner emulates Floyd it's hard to tell. As for the people who take issues with Floyd thanking God... He's the highest paid boxer in the world. The bible is very clear that even if we aren't perfect (I'm not and Mayweather isn't) that if we put our faith in him, give him credit, then he's going to bless us abundantly.
Has he not blessed Floyd mayweather with incredible talent, $, etc? Can anybody deny this? Nobody upholds Floyd's actions, but story after story in the bible shows that NOBODY IS PERFECT except Christ. People a lot worse than Mayweather in the bible got blessed. They did reap what they sowed, still payed a certain price for what they did (just like Mayweather going to jail), but God still used them, blessed them, worked through them, etc.
Pac comes in second place for most $ a boxer makes as well... and guess what? He's got amazing talent, $, etc as well. What a coincidence the bible states those that put there faith in him will be blessed, those that rely on him are blessed, and these 2 guys do it every single fight, and they are at the top... Strange

true statement. when you are as blessed as Floyd or Ward, Pacquiao etc, how can you call them crazy for thanking god or believing in him? people would kill to make the amount of money that they make or be in the same position. also Floyd is undefeated after 42 fights. i don't blame him for thinking that someone is watching over him.

If Floyd got knocked out in his next fight Broner would too, just to be like his idol.

If Ellerbe "accidentally" leaked he and Floyd's sex tape, Broner would run out and **** Ellerbe on tape and "accidentally" leak it.

Christianity is the most popular religion in the world dumbass, most people will believe in god, he doesn't exist and them being famous and having skill and money doesn't mean ****. Is Allah automatically real and the true god cause Naz was a Muslim or what about the billionaire tycoon Muslims from Saudi Arabia. Perhaps Zeus and Jupiter is real because Greece and Rome was successful... And what about the Atheist scientists, some of the smartest minds in the world, did god bless them with the intelligence to bring out all of the bull**** in the bible? Get out of here with you bible beating bull****, this is a boxing thread not church....

Definitely man. To think of the father he had, I'm sure they had $ but not the greatest relationships in the world obviously with those Mayweathers. Then of course the poverty somebody like Pac grew up with.
It's an amazing testament that these 2 guys, whom come from different backgrounds, probably both difficult situations (in there own way) could make it to the top without some help. Just ironic these guys that do so great at what they do and they have that in common.
BTW: I'm not saying they can't lose, or get old. I'm just saying there most definitely athletically gifted, very determined, financially well off, seems like they have good lives (for the most part), etc.

Good point this one. I was locked my wife and my dog in the boot of my car. An hour later guess who was happier to see me?

He's probably casually religious like most stupid Americans.

I suppose that's better than being sincerely and devoutly religious.

    Goddamn god...

why do atheists come off as such miserable people? why do people believing in god bother you so much?
btw, i'm not religious, but atheists that like to push their beliefs on to other people are more annoying than religious people. if believing in god makes people happy, why should it matter to you?

A boxing thread that says "God" in the title? And a few people talking about how there *is no god*, *nobody helps you*, etc. You never quoted them and said for them to stop there religious non sense did you? Yet.. They posted about religion (or lack of) before me :D One sided much?
Anyway, just making an observation I had, and there lives correlate with what the bible says. Of course some succeed great in life, some may not/ never believe in a God, but it also seems a lot of them (not all) lose fame real quick when they fall, and you don't seem to hear from them.
Seems like it takes a lot longer to gain than it does to lose everything. They just give credit to God, and seems like they've stayed on the ride quite a while. Just my observation.
